Very old, but very good maintained Hotel. The personal are very nice and hilfreich, especially the Lady at the reception upon our arrival and the young trainee Lady at the breakfast!

My husband and I were Cycle Touring and arrived here in a thunderstorm. We were very wet but warmly welcomed by the owner. He took us around to the garage first so that we could lock our bikes away safely. Then we registered and were shown personally to our room up stairs on the 3rd floor. I even had my panniers carried for me. That was a first for me, many thanks for that. Our room was awesome, named "Jennifer", large window overlooking the Rhein river, couch, coffee table, great bed and super large bathroom. We could sit on the bed and watch the ships go by and look out at the large chateau on the other side of the river. The breakfast area was magical. The atrium type room was a really nice space to be in and eat our well presented breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the day we arrived, but there are other restaurants close by. Even though we had no German language, it wasn't a barrier. We were welcomed and managed to work through all communications with waving hands, pen and paper and humour. Many thanks for great hospitality.

Beautiful old building,pretty rooms,beautiful little garden with seating to enjoy a welcome to the hotel drink. Such a friendly hotel.We were very well looked after. Our room had a balcony looking towards the vines on the valley side. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast overlooking a little garden was pretty. We were asked how we would like our eggs cooking.Unusually for me -I had a beautifully cooked omelette. The Manager (and her lovely German shepherd ),looked after us very well.She indicated a red wine cabinet,a white wine fridge,a sweet littke kitchen to make drinks,also to find beer in the fridge there! As it was Tuesday,she indicated the few restaurants open on that day.Following her recommendations,we had a super meal in the sunnymarket square. A gentle stroll into the picturesque town,perfect.

The apartment was so elegant and lofty.Beautifully curated. Very comfortable bed,super facilities. The gardens looked lovely. We were able to charge our electric car at the hotel. We liked the lady owner very much.She was charming. Breakfast was very good.
