Very clean, beautifully presented and well maintained. The staff were all fantastic and did their very best to accommodate my poor German vocabulary! The room was cleaned daily, mini bar restocked and towels changed as and when required. The pool was lovely but unfortunately the sauna was off when I went to try it. Location was off the Main Street but not by much, a 10 min walk from the train/bus station.

I've stayed there many times (since ~ 20 years ago), and I have never been disappointed. Great location, comfortable rooms and facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, and one of the oldest and most established hotels in Mittenwald - yet constantly being renovated to meet the highest standards.

This is easily the best stay we had on our entire trip. The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, the property is conveniently located close to hiking trails and the village has a very relaxed feel. We will be back for longer. Highly recommended!
