Great breakfast. We got a taste of homemade marmelade, scrambled eggs originating from the farms own hens, homemade cheese and butter. The host and personel wanted the stay to feel like a home away from home - and succeeded. Warmest recommendations.

What an amazing stay I had here! I am traveling through Colombia for 2 months, but this has been my favorite hotel so far! Where to start...first of the owner and his sons are very friendly, i arrived by bus at 05.00 in the morning at terminal with no taxi's. I got a message in booking from the owner saying he will pick me up at any time(!). Really unique. What is also amazing is that both sons are fluent in English, so for tourists like me who are just learning Spanish It helps a lot with any questions you might have or tours that you can book right through them. The first day i went horseback riding in the mountain, the second day buggy riding (and one of the sons, Camillo, even took me to town for a game of tego in the evening). The last night, we went horse riding at night with a lot of fireflies around us, stunning! If you want to have an extraordinary stay, i'd recommend staying at this hotel.

This hotel was wonderful! The room was spacious, very well decorated, the bathroom was great with a hot shower and great pressure just like at home, the staff was very helpful, giving us tips on what to do during our days in Salento... and the best of all, breakfast! In addition to being immense quantity and diversity, everything was great and fresh! My advice, stay in Hotel Terrazas de Salento!!

This was by far the best accommodation I had during my 2 weeks in Colombia. Although the finca is located outside of Salento, getting there only takes 5 minutes or so by jeep - a good trade-off for staying in the middle of nature. Cocora valley is not far, either (I'd say 20 min max), and can be reached using the same jeeps. The staff is very friendly and polite and always doing their best to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms and premises are very clean and there's hot water and good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was definitely the richest and tastiest I had in Colombia and they serve delicious meals throughout the day. On top of it all, they offer a horse riding tour, which was the highlight of my stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel! The property is beautiful, and the staff is incredibly kind. Our room was a bit small but perfectly functional, with an absolutely breathtaking view of the mountains. Breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of options for those who prefer savory or sweet choices. A special mention goes to Carlos and Luis, who both very friendly and respectful. They gave us tons of helpful information about places to visit and local restaurants. The hotel is just an 8-minute walk from the center, which makes it peaceful and slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Salento—ideal for relaxing and waking up to the sounds of nature. We highly recommend this place, and if we come back to Quindío, we’ll definitely stay here again! Hasta Pronto!
