Close to the train station, this hotel was a pleasant surprise both for the room and their amenities. These rooms don't really have a view, but is this really a problem when you can walk outside and have as many views as you want? Also, staff was very attentive to our requests and breakfast was super.

Opened in December 2012, Hotel Matterhorn Lodge is located in the historic centre of Zermatt. Decorated in a classic Alpine style, it features a wellness area with 3 different saunas.

We had a truly wonderful stay. There is strictly nothing negative to say about our short spell at the Matterhorn Lodge. The room was exceptionally clean, quiet, cosy, but with modern facilities. Spa was also super clean and welcoming. Staff were ultra nice, and came to pick us from the train station, even though we were actually just a short walk away. Breakfast was wonderful, and we were both sad to leave. We literally can't wait to go back!

Everything is perfect. The room was very beautiful, they also have a good facilitys on the SPA inside and a cozy swimming pool outside. We enjoyed so much!

Location is very good to see Matterhorn in front of you. The room is spacious and very clean. The staffs are very helpful.
