Perfect place where to stay if you’re planning on doing the hikes around. The hotel has a large wellness space with all kind of saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs. Perfect to relax! The food is really good as well, very nice staff, with a special note for the restaurant-bar manager, that was just exceptional, looking into the little details to make sure everything is perfect and always having a nice word for everyone, I’ve rarely seen someone as dedicated and professional 👌. Rooms are large and confortable, the only thing I may say is that in my opinion they are a little too basic, missing some charme/character/decoration. But overall, great place to stay, the lobby lounge with fireplace is very cost to have a drink or read after a long day. I will definitely come back!

The hospitality & the perfect location is exceptional 10/10. Special shouts for Maria, the super kind receptionist, who woke up in the 3 AM (the receptionist closed in evening), because we arrived super late. She made sure we were able to check in, without hassle. The view from our room is stunning! Property with elevator is a plus & our room is clean. Def came back next time. Best of luck!

The manager and his wife were wonderful! We ended up eating every mean overlooking the beautiful Lake Lucerne. We got to know the waiters and they were so kind. We went for a day into Lucerne, and the manager recommended the best restaurant, Brasserie Bodu which we have since passed on to friends visiting Lucerne. We had a great day, but couldn't wait to get back to Seehotel Gotthard. We would definitely return! Thank you for making our stay special ...
