Exceptional, friendly staff who took great care of us. Inviting pool and wellness area(though it took us a few days to brave the full cold bucket of water experience between steam and sauna sessions).Pool table and board games for the occasional bad weather moment. Alpen Hertz Romantic hotel was one of the best in our long history of skiing. The hotel is clean, looks new, the rooms are large and the hotel is close to the ski slopes. Excellent food. The stay was perfect. Location, service, wellness and a particularly warm welcome from the owner Ditmar. He does everything to make you comfortable. The bus stop is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. We were able to leave our ski equipment at the hotel's ski depot in Ischgl, no annoying carrying of ski equipment, always dry and warm shoes, gloves and helmets. The apartments are very comfortable, well equipped, perfectly clean. We strongly recommend visiting the sauna. Just what you need after a day of skiing.
