We stayed at Casa del Sol for one night and had a very nice stay. The location is very good, just a few minutes' walk from the main square. The house is very nice and has a beautiful garden and pool area in the courtyard. The rooms are large, clean and well-kept and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous with good coffee, delicious jam and cream cheese and fresh fruit, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice as a highlight. The staff were extremely friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime.

This is the best hotel we have been to in Argentina, the place is just wonderful and the employees are very nice! The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel's architecture is stunning (it looks like a Spanish "masia" or a countryside house in Italy's Tuscany). When we arrived they gave us a room in the first floor and asked for a room in the floor above to have better views, they did all they could to change our room free of charge. They also offered a free wine-tasting, so we had the chance to try all of their wines with some cheese platters (white, red, rose, from the cheaper end to the very expensive end) with a professional sommelier. The hotel offers some activities (we did a horseback-riding excursion). In the evening the garden and the terrace are full of people enjoying some nice wine, the atmosphere is really magical. A lot of people ignore the area of Cafayate (and head to Mendoza instead), that is a big mistake, not only do I think that Cafayate wine is nicer but the area is beautiful. I strongly recommend staying here!
