I arrived early after 12pm but Miriem offered me the Moroccan tee and allowed me to check in early - much apprecaited! Located in a central but quiet area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole Ryad is elegantly decorated, staying there has been a very pleasant experience.

Riad Amaris is situated in the centre of Rabat, a 12-minute walk from Kasbah of the Udayas. The traditional-style riad offers an original patio with a fountain, a glass ceiling and a furnished terrace with plants. Conveniently located in the old city, Riad Amaris is an oasis away from the busy streets of Rabat. The staff were very helpful - they arranged a special breakfast for us as we had to leave Rabat earlier than the usual breakfast time.

The DAR YANIS riad is located in the heart of the medina, 50 meters from the main artery, Avenue Mohamed V, but quietly nestled in a small dead end; it is 5 minutes from the beach.

200 meters from the riad, guarded public parking lots (5 dhs/hour) are available at the entrance to the medina. The hosts are wonderful, smiling, and very kind. The location is excellent. The riad appears to be either new or recently renovated – it’s very well maintained. Our room was very clean, and even though we stayed only two nights, it was tidied up after the first night while we were out. Breakfast was great.

A daily breakfast is served in one of the Riad’s Moroccan lounges or on the terrace. With its central location on Mohamed V Avenue, the hotel is not far from restaurants and shops. Everything! This accomodation deserves a better ranking. It‘s not a 3-star but at least 4-star Riad. You have everything you could wish for in this Riad. We were welcomed nicely, with a tee and were shown and explained the nearest places and best spots to visit. The host is speaking very well English, besides French. This riad has only space for 6 rooms (bigger and smaller), which makes it so special and cosy. Our room was very clean, being on the roof top is like you are out of town. The Medina is busy and full of people, but when you are in this Riad it was peacefull and quiet. Plenty of food for breakfast. The location is great, right in the middle of the old Medina. You can walk easily to the old Casbah, to the Ocean, the Marina, take the tram… We travelled by car, but no problem, there are at least 3 parking spots right outside Medina and near to the accomodation. It’s just a question of the price for the parking. Looking back we were very sad, we didn’t stay longer because on our 14days trip - the Riad Dar Soufa was the best accomodation!! What made my stay even more enjoyable is the friendliness and the willingness of all staff to accommodate any need I had from recommending restaurants, organising breakfast at a later sitting for me and even sorting my Moroccan sim and WiFi for my mobile phone. A special mention to Whalid, the manager who went above and beyond all expectations.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The riad itself is beautiful and full of charm. It felt very traditional and peaceful, and everything was super clean, including our room, which was cozy and nicely decorated. The food was honestly amazing. Breakfast was fresh and generous every morning. Overall, it was such a warm and relaxing place to stay. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable experience.
