Excellent central location, traditional Cotswold coaching inn. Secure storage for our bicycles. Quiet in our courtyard annexe room.

Location was superb for strolls to Camden Lock. Room was lovely, modern-traditional with a comfortable bed and clean bedding. Shared bathroom was impeccably clean and the shower was brilliant! The front courtyard was lovely and the tea-light lanterns each night are a gorgeous touch.

We absolutely loved our stay in this traditional thatched cottage in a beautiful village. It was a wonderful experience to spend time in such a historical property.

We loved everything! The room was beautifully furnished and in keeping with the property. It is centrally located and has a gorgeous garden courtyard as well. The doors was amazing.

Ideally situated in a charming traditional setting. We were a family group requiring 4 rooms and three were together in our own courtyard which was a real bonus. The fourth room was in the main building and was an excellent room too with its own verrandah. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. The children's play area was really useful.

We loved the courtyard, especially the tiles on the floor but more could have been done by adding flowering plants. The room was fine. The historical items gave interest and were enjoyable to look at. We welcomed the fact that the place was fully licensed but it would be greatly improved if light meals and snacks and pastries were offered. We were very pleased that it was pet friendly even though we didn’t have a pet. All in all, a good night’s stay and we would book it again.

The hotel is a collection of buildings and is an oasis of plants and flowers a short distance from the busy road. The staff were all super helpful and the garden courtyard is a lovely place to dwell.
