Maria Magdelena is such a calm, peaceful space - exhuding the charm of Malaga, whilst feeling cozy and homely. Light and airy - with a lovely inner courtyard with plants and tables in a relaxed atmosphere. Simple but has all you need. The staff are all super friendly and helpful - I wanted to return for a second stay and was accommodated at very late notice! SO grateful 🙏🏼 ☺️Very easy and quick access to the old town - but far enough out to be quiet. Perfect - I hope to return one day!

Hotel was beautiful, they had lovely courtyard in the middle, with places to sit n lounge. It was lovely decorated, lots of plants. You can see the property is being cared for. Clean n quite.

The room was clean and stylish. Comfortable stay with partner. There was a pleasant courtyard, where you could either enjoy the restaurant or sit on a bench or in comfortable chairs and listen to the sound of water from the fountain. Also the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

The courtyard with the fountain was very nice and you can enjoy coffee/breakfast/dinner from the hotel's restaurant out there. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We stayed here after landing late into Malaga and wanted to rest before a long drive the following day and I am pleased I chose this hotel, it was very easy to reach in a taxi and was everything we needed.

Only booked here due to proximity of the airport but it’s actually much nicer than that; rooms are fine but the highlight is the courtyard containing restaurant and bar; nice climbing plants and bird song. Staff very helpful also

What a gem of a place, just charming and very historical! Our room had a little terrace that looked over a courtyard with a fountain. Parking was easy, we dropped off our bags and were given clear instructions on where and how to park just 5 min away. The gorge and bridge were an easy 2 min walk away. Absolutely perfect location.

The location is good, a short walk to the supermarket and the historical center of the city. The apartment was so well stocked - teas, coffees, oils, cleaning materials etc. I think Javier thought of everything! Plenty of towels, beach towels, beach umbrellas, rain umbrellas, shopping bags etc. There was also a washing machine. It felt secure too, with our own courtyard. Excellent communication with Javier and family before and during the trip.

Rooms around a beautiful, traditional courtyard with many flowers and a water feature. The spacious suite had been recently refurbished to a good standard. Inside the refrigerator were a quarter bottle of sparkling wine, a can of beer, a bottle of water and the ingredients for breakfast - fresh rolls were delivered at 08:00. There was free on-street parking right outside and a bar/restaurant within a couple of minutes' walk.

Our room had an inner courtyard view and falling asleep to sound of the water fountain was glorious. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room which is always great. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel.
