Everything! This accomodation deserves a better ranking. It‘s not a 3-star but at least 4-star Riad. You have everything you could wish for in this Riad. We were welcomed nicely, with a tee and were shown and explained the nearest places and best spots to visit. The host is speaking very well English, besides French. This riad has only space for 6 rooms (bigger and smaller), which makes it so special and cosy. Our room was very clean, being on the roof top is like you are out of town. The Medina is busy and full of people, but when you are in this Riad it was peacefull and quiet. Plenty of food for breakfast. The location is great, right in the middle of the old Medina. You can walk easily to the old Casbah, to the Ocean, the Marina, take the tram… We travelled by car, but no problem, there are at least 3 parking spots right outside Medina and near to the accomodation. It’s just a question of the price for the parking. Looking back we were very sad, we didn’t stay longer because on our 14days trip - the Riad Dar Soufa was the best accomodation!! Thank you a lot and all the best !!

The Riad itself was beautiful. I would have loved to have dinner there but unfortunately it was booked out so make sure to book ahead. What made my stay even more enjoyable is the friendliness and the willingness of all staff to accommodate any need I had from recommending restaurants, organising breakfast at a later sitting for me and even sorting my Moroccan sim and WiFi for my mobile phone. A special mention to Whalid, the manager who went above and beyond all expectations.

I had a really great stay at this riad. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The riad itself is beautiful and full of charm. It felt very traditional and peaceful, and everything was super clean, including our room, which was cozy and nicely decorated. The food was honestly amazing. We stayed at Riad Dar Saidi for 9 days and couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our time whilst in Rabat. Everybody there was so hospitable, by the time we left we felt we’d been staying with family as opposed to a hotel. From the moment we landed, Anass took great care of us by helping arrange a taxi, greeting us with tea upon arrival. He was so welcoming, made sure we knew about everything there was to do & see in Rabat, and if we needed anything he was always a quick text away. The owner was also such a warm presence and so lovely. The rooms were kept absolutely spotless by the very lovely housekeeper, who always had a smile on her face. There was a delicious breakfast every morning, which varied but generally consisted of Moroccan breads, pastries, eggs, fruits etc with Moroccan tea & coffee. The Riad is perfectly situated just off a bustling street of the medina with lots of food stalls and shops on your doorstep. Additionally, it’s only about a 5 minute walk to the square & souks, and about 15 to the marina and Kazbah des Oudayas.
