This is the largest and most beautiful riad I have seen in my month in Morocco. It's 3 1/2 floors, 12 rooms, large communal areas, multiple staircases on either side of the building and open roof top make it a delight to stay in and photograph. The bathrooms come with multiple towels, soap, shampoos, toilet paper and tissues. The bathroom is spacious and shower area can easily accommodate people of all sizes. The wardrobe has coat hangers, spare blankets and pillows. Cleaners come daily and refresh stocks, change towels upon request and can clean your room. There's onsite laundry service available. The breakfast lasts me the day, fruit yogurt tea coffee honey jams cheese, sweet cakes, various breads and fried eggs. The rooftop lounge looks over the medina in every direction. The owner speaks multiple languages, including excellent English, and is very helpful with restaurants and things to see and do. The whole building is very clean and well maintained, beds are comfortable and linen/ pillows smell clean. It is located in the heart of the touristy area, but down a side alley so nice and quiet. There's a few wifi dead spots but 90% of the place is fine and the wifi was good enough for me to upload 20gb to onedrive

Our host was wonderful. He spoke English and Spanish. Breakfast was great. We had 2 rooms on 2 different floors. Both were roomy and comfortable. I loved being in the old part of town. We loved being surrounded by the mosques and hearing the call to prayer. The air conditioning was amazing.

Staying at Riad D’Or was an unforgettable experience. It is located right in the heart of the historic medina but it still offers the perfect combination of convenience and calmness—the rooms are incredibly quiet despite being in such a lively area. Everything was spotlessly clean, the furniture is beautiful and traditionally authentic. The staff were absolutely amazing—professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist us with anything we needed. Thank you for everything, we are really grateful to have the opportunity to stay with you. What I also want to mention - the food here is simply outstanding. The breakfasts were incredible, with a wide variety of options. We also had dinner at the riad, and it was nothing short of perfect—authentic Moroccan cuisine at its finest. I highly recommend Riad D’Or to anyone visiting Meknes. When we’re getting back, this is the place we will return to.

The Riad is in the Medina so you feel right in the heart of the city. The house itself is magical. It has been in the same family for 4 generations and is obviously much loved. Full of traditional items and in a classical Riad design with courtyard. Our host was charming and helpful and speaks several languages.

The riad is very characteristic, indeed is situated inside Meknes Medina. The owner is very polite and his wife make a special breakfast included in the tax and if you want she could make also a traditional dinner. The house has and old style but is very clean and has an amazing terrace were we saw the sunrise and sunset. we had a real Moroccan experience there, we felt like part of their family ! Absolutely recommend

Our stay was fantastic! The riad is 600 years old, architecture and design are so authentic and take you to the journey through time. Our room was big with high ceiling and very comfortable. The hosts are so lovely people, it was a great pleasure to have conversations with them. Breakfast was traditional, good and tasty. If you are visiting Meknes, you should definitely stay in this riad as it’s not just a hotel but an extraordinary experience that will enrich you Moroccan trip.

A perfect place to discover the beauty of a traditional house (riad) in the ancient medina of Meknes. The interior garden is amazing. Hosts are really great. Strongly recommended to eat their home-made delicious tagine served at dinner (you should tell them in advance).
