I loved my stay in DC. Wish the hotel was more stocked in things and didn’t have to enter the hotel code on the elevator

Having to enter in a code for everything, took a lot of time. Having to find my own towels on certain floors and there was never any towels. I had to request them with the lady that sat in the lobby.

The kitchen, location was pretty decent, didn’t have far to walk to certain things.

Check in using a touch pad on a dial box where the #s are not legible (faded) is quite frustrating. I didn’t realize this was essentially not a hotel but a portion of a building with its own elevator bank

Big room. Comfortable bed. East location.

Well-located, clean, modern, freezing room, but unsavory luggage storage

The temperature was consistently freezing. It seemed the thermostat was broken. Even when I set the temperature to 90°F and put on the "Heat On" setting, the fan blasted cold air, whether on low, medium, or high. I had to set the thermostat to "Off" and settle for cool DC weather. I froze at all times in the room for my entire 4-day stay. As nice as the room was, I dreaded going back to it bc it was colder inside than out. In the bathroom, there is shampoo, conditioner and body wash, but it seemed someone had broken the shampoo pump and, since the bottle is fixed to the wall, it couldn't be removed to unscrew the top, so it couldn't be used. Regarding the luggage storage space, it is very dirty and unsavory with old garbage laying around in it, as well as weird building pieces, like maintenance used it to store old parts and forgot about them. Looks like no one has ever remodeled or cleaned it, which is disappointing for how much is being charged for this hotel. This storage space (and lobby) is a stark contrast to the pristine room. Be aware, too, that there are 4 steep, narrow steps immediately in front of the storage door, so if you can't lift your luggage, you can't use this locked space. I would have told someone about the thermostat, etc, but there is no reception desk or greeting staff to ask for help. This is not apparent on the website or booking - it would be better to know in advance that there will be no one to ask for help, instead of wondering the whole time how to get help when you're so busy on your trip.

Amazing location, approx. 5-min walk to Farragut North metro, 7-min walk to Farragut West metro (easy paved walk with suitcase coming on blue line from Reagan Airport) and to Dupont Circle, 10-min walk to the White House, food store 1 min around the corner, and loads of restaurants and cafes to walk to in 0-10 mins. Room was exceptionally clean and tastefully modern; kitchenette stocked with all basic cook and dining wares, toaster, kettle, dishsoap, etc. Regarding the TV, not a bad thing but would have been good to know that it is only Roku without regular programming, and you rely mainly on your own streaming subscriptions to sign in with, like Netflix, Hulu, etc. Great water pressure in shower - no problem for thick hair!

Bed was a tad small and noise from the street was high.

Whilst not for everyone I liked the “app experience” to check in. Location was superb. Having a kitchen was nice. Supermarket and 7-11 around the corner.

Digital Check-in process was not so easy, did not work, had to email and call but staff was friendly and rather efficient. Also we had to enter the code several times in the key pad at entrance and at the lift before it worked I advise strongly: 1) Take your time before arrival to do the check in (don't do it last minute, and for non US resident with mobile phone roaming costs: make sure you have wifi or data package to be able to check in and call the staff in case of issue) 2) Download the Sonder Quincy app and set up the Mobile Key App before arrival: the keypad was not working well. Noise: A problem with the room is that it had a plain door that joined with a neighboring room. The door had no sealing and no soundproofing. We could perfectly hear our neighbor's phone conversations. After she spoke loudly for a while and it was late, we decided to ask her to be more silent. She complied. We, too, had to be careful to be silent. There was also occasional noise from the corridor but we were lucky to stay at an end. Overall door soundproofing should be improved. But no noise from outside.

Spacious room, large bed, Location 20'-30'-40' on foot from Washington DC Museum zone, very close to metro station West Faregut which is on Silver line, direct line to/from Dulles airport), Kitchen well equipped (with kettle, toaster, sugar, salt, pepper, kitchen towel, sponge, dishwasher soap, enough plates and mugs, good basic cooking tools, etc...) Clean, After 1st entry digital check in and physical keypad problems (see below), entrance was easy with the Mobile Key App Rather efficient digital/phone staff support Good value for money because of location and comfort Washington DC luggage storage offers both alternative: - a large room at the entrance lobby to use with building code (keep it as Mobile key App is not available anymore after check out) - several lockers at the entrance lobby too to use with own code (Note: Sonder also gives you discount on some external luggage storage company but it is closed... on Sundays...) In general, I was anxious because of some of the Booking negative reviews, some proved to be wrong (Luggage storage and kitchen equipment better than expected) and some proved to be right (Check in process, see my advise below, and incidental noise from inside) There is no staff but a lot of info in the Silver / Quincy App (which is where the Mobile Key is): like where to get additional towels in the building etc... Also in the morning there is the cleaning staff (don't forget to tip her/him :-)) you can ask.

You have to introduce a code 3 times to enter your room ( at entrance, in elevator, at your room). And the code box is not a user friendly one. Wasting of time.

Gaining access to the property was difficult at times as the access code didn’t always work. Also unlike our friends’ bathroom ours was missing shelves (they had been removed) so there was nowhere to store our toiletries. We were in room 409.

The location. It wasn’t too far to The White House and there is a subway station a short walk away. The property was clean and well maintained with access to extra towels etc if you needed them.

The interior is dated, the bed fine but not comfortable for me, using the pin is well and good but the numbers are fading on outside keypad

Sonder Quincy is in a great location, a quiet area with cafes nearby as well as the Metro. The facilities are fine and perfect for what you need. The wifi is excellent.
