Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SpainBe careful. They charge you one amount and then increase it after you have already paid. I was charged when I checked in, and then one week later, they updated that charge (not emitting a new one) which I have never seen done before. They also over-charged and I’m still waiting for a refund but so far they’re not being helpful. The door doesn’t fully seal the entrance. There is so much space between the lower side of the door and the carpet, that light from the hallway lights the room, and noise from doors/elevator come in.
It was cleaned every day and very comfortable.

United StatesI liked this hotel a lot but I have to say that the bathroom arrangement in our rooms was less than ideal. There is a sliding door (not a door that fully closes) dividing the bathroom from the bedroom. It is not private at all, and in an already small Manhattan hotel room- uncomfortable and awkward!
The hotel was very clean, and the rooms are newly refurbished. Bed was very comfortable, and we got an upgrade to a city view room which was really a treat!

United StatesThe room is very small. We booked a room for 2 people with an extra large bed, but there is just not enough room for 2 people. Also, there is no privacy in the bathroom at all since there is no real door, it's some sliding door with no soundproofing. Breakfast is bad, It's just some frozen reheated food. Overall, I will not choose this hotel on my next visit to NYC.
Great location near the Empire State Building. Our room has a great view of the city. The hotel building is new so the windows are soundproof. The room was clean. I used a valet parking service, which is a convenient way to park, but not cheap.

United KingdomI thought the breakfast was pretty terrible, although my wife said it was OK. Crowded (queuing to get a table) and something of a scrum to get your food which wasn’t that great. The photos showing jugs of freshly squeezed orange juice, slices of ham and fresh bakery are against the trade description act (assuming they have one in the US). Also, there was always a long wait for the elevators, especially in the morning.

The view is amazing and definitely the highlight of the place. The location is great. The room is small, but comfortable and clean. The staff was nice.

CroatiaBreakfast is horrible and you need to wait in line to be seated. Food is so bad. Staff is horrible. We asked for table for 6 and every time she said it is not possible until we told her "what about that table?" and she was ok go there. It happened very day!! People at the welcome desk, some are ok, some are not polite at all. In general, hotel is ok if you dont need to communicate with staff.
Beds were comfy, room was spacious (but it was room for disabled people). Location was very good.

ItalyThe room was small, but comfortable. The breakfast hall is hectic, but they let you bring the food to your room (and skip the line). I really liked everything else.
I really loved the position, it's perfect: 20-minute walking or Metro distance from basically anywhere. The view from the window is amazing, totally worth it. And also the price it's affordable, for NYC standards. We got fresh sheets and clean bathroom everyday. There is free tea and coffee 24/7.
