Parking charges are separate, breakfast ends at 8:30am, too early when leisure traveling with family, it seems on purpose for serving as many few guests as they can, No ice machine available.

The maintenance is starting to show a lack of concern. It is good property and lack of proper supervision of small stuff will cause a continuation decline of star rating. ie: two examples 1st room assigned a problem window would not lock.( lock gone). Room was on 2nd floor but safety is major concern for a traveler. I reported and had room changed . 2ndroom assigned: on entry to 3rd floor suite . A large roach on floor leading to bathroom. I`m from Texas so this is not a deal breaker but if it is a suite than no spoons or knifes are a problem and refrigerator was not cooling well I put my things in freezer compartments. Late following afternoon the refrigerator started cooling better. Last but not least the base of bathtub looked dingy but I think it is due to age and the nonslip matterial that make it look dingy. Housekeeper can only do so much but if update is not kept up. Your company will loose. Again I stress this is a good place to stay but if you want to maintain good reputation than it means effort of supervision needs to improve to check your rooms Older BUT in tip top shape for a better quality ratingshould be stressed. Old does not mean poor quality. All in all I would still stay here JEDaugherrty 9/19/23 thru 9/21/23

The outdoor activities games the hotel offers for the guest to enjoy during your stay and the pool.

The location was perfect easy access to different eating area. The breakfast at the hotel needs some approval more of a buffet style.

The mile walk to our room from the elevator. My husband just had knee surgery and we never thought about getting a room so far away from the only exit he could use. It was very frustrating for him. I’ll ask next time before I make a reservation.

The people working here were awesome. Our cleaning lady, Maria, and was so very nice and helpful. Every single employee was friendly.

They don't do daily cleaning in your room or have full services. We asked for services for the room because you have to ask day in advance and they left linens sitting on our table no beds were made. We had to call the front desk they didn't change out our towels. We had to take out our own trash and collect all our towels to exchange them.

We have always stayed at Sonesta until now. We were not told we would be charged for parking! Last time we stay there. We can stay at any other Hotel that doesn't charge parking.

The lady tending the breakfast was rude and in too big of a hurry to put things away while many people were lined up to eat. Breakfast should never end before 10 am on the weekend!! That is a standard in the hotel industry. And the pool closed too early as well. Adults would like to be able to enjoy the pool in peace in the evenings, since children dominated during the day. But when the pool closes so early many adults don't have time because they work all day or they're just getting in an hour before the pool closes.

Loved the kitchen in the rooms. Comes with a full kitchen and cookware which really helps on an extended trip

The pool closed early every day so we never got to go even once. Summer hours should be later for adults to enjoy the pool in the evening. Many people don't get back to the hotel until 8-9 pm.

The fully equipped kitchen, it meant we didn't have to go out to eat as much.

The breakfast was great every morning. It was very convenient to where we wanted to go. There were two great restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

items in our bathroom were pretty old the chrome was peeling off of things. the Door to the bathroom was swollen from water damage. the elevator was a bit scary as it makes loud thumping sounds before it moves and when it stops

There was a problem with the entry cards, both for getting into the side entrances and into the room. Eventually, all things worked out, but it detracted significantly from the visit. Front desk acknowledged the situation and said that replacements are planned for spring.

I didn’t get a receipt. The lady at the front desk said booing.con would email it to me but I never received the receipt. I asked her to print the receipt and she said she couldn’t. The price that was charged is more than what I should’ve been charged.

There wasn't any fitted sheets available to us for the pull out sofa. It wasn't that big of a deal because we just used the flat sheet to cover it. The washers could use a cleaning more often.

The complimentary access to a washer and dryer is great. No need to take dirty clothes home with you. The exercise room is pretty nice as well. Each of the treadmills and bike had a t.v. with cable access to watch as you exercised. Even had a little free weight area. HEB is literally around the corner and Walmart is one exit away, if you forgot anything at home.
