How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I had to switch rooms two times. The first time was when I checked in, the original room smelled of stale cigarettes and had a giant roach in it. The second time was because the AC stopped working (I was at work at the time) and when I came back the room was very stuffy and smelled
There wasn’t anything that exceptionally stood out. It was a nice stay since it was close to where I needed to be for work. The breakfast was a good plus.

I notified the staff that there was a dog urine smell in one of the bedrooms of my suite and no one ever came to take care of it.
I love the location and the hotel in general.

Biggest bummer was the constantly dripping bathtub…kind of torturous to try to get to sleep. Other elements in similar need of minor repair. Included breakfast was on the lesser side of the norm for this type of amenity. Note: Parking fee of $5 per day, which I don’t recall seeing in listing.
Perfect location for me. Bed very comfortable. Spacious suite. Check in staff was great.

Staff said we could come down and get more towels but when we did they did not have any. Food was left in the fridge from the previous people.
The location was not bad. It was an affordable price.

The beds were so incredibly hard they were painful (at least the king size one in our room was). The tv in the "family room" was damaged (we notified the front desk). It was also hard to locate the trash locations so we used the small cans along the sidewalk.
We loved nearly everything about it. Staff was great, food was good, and the rooms were exactly what we needed. I loved having a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out constantly, and the breakfast was really good! Would definitely recommend.

We arrived last at night to only have the 3rd floor as an option. The night clerk advise that I should call the front desk in the morning to switch rooms and that I did. The dayshift front desk agent talked in circles and tried everything to tell me that she couldn't move us and when I advised her I had osteoarthritis in both knees, she essentially shrugged me off and advised she would call me. I called an additional time and went to the front desk around 1pm and was told by the same clerk that housekeeping was aware but had not released a room. Nevertheless, I was never offered to switch and many families still coming in until 7 and 8pm at night. This morning, I feel down the stairs on both knees to the 2nd floor. I'm not sure if this is common practice to ignore special request for medical needs but I will not stay here anymore as a result.

The 250$ deposit. What was the purpose of the deposit when my room had patched up holes. Burn spots from cigarettes or what not on the dining table. Food from last visitors left in the refrigerator. Grapes on the floor from last tenants. Our bedroom lamp kept flickering on and off. Not a good return place for me.

The place could use an upgrade in a lot of areas. Housekeeping only comes if you request it. Parking was extremely difficult at a certain time. We waited for hours for more towels. It’s a large facility, please get more towels.
I like that it was spacious. It was a reasonable price as well!

Having to pay to park my car. Where else was I supposed to park? Also, the staff done their best to have cooking pans. Which I was grateful for. But there was no spatula, can opener or cooking spoons. I had to go to store and buy them.
The location was nice and the breakfast bar was good.

Carpet cleaning company was there during my stay. Although they were in and out quickly it was a minor inconvenience.

Towels and sheets weren’t changed out. Front desk was all over the place when it came to paying for my stay
