Pillowcases didn’t smell clean; bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke(nonsmoking room). Oddly no trash cans -no cups of any kind-no coffee maker/keurig or anything available in the office. Never saw a single employee, our key was taped to the locked office door when we arrived at 3:30pm-office still locked when we checked out next day.

Picked for the location, wanted to be near Rockland for an event. Room and bathroom seemed recently painted/updated. We had the essentials. $97 a night.

Stairs up to the apartment did not have winter grip on them so while it was snowing, lugging my suitcase up the stairs was a bit tricky as it was incredibly slippery. Would benefit putting grip on the staircase.

Great for the price. Had a lovely window view out to the bush with a waterfall running through it. Clean, spacious room that had a beachy feel to it. Would stay again next time I am in area.

When I arrived - heater was blasting on high. Couldn’t go to bed until I had shut off unit and opened door, for quite a while. Not a big complaint —- unit delivered heat, when needed, very efficiently.

Breakfast not served, this time. Nice unpretentious decor - full of sailboats. Easy on the eyes. Great location. I’ve stayed here before (2021). Tried in 2022; but, motel was recovering from a fire.

I was impressed with the breakfast, there was a lady baking homemade muffins and scones. She was also cooking bacon and eggs. This was a very charming and quaint place to stay.

No coffee maker, no tissue box, no blow dryer, no sockets for charging near bed. The mattress was soft too soft.

The breakfast was unbelievable all kinds of food selections one wouldn't expect in a motel and for the price we paid. Guy at check-in recommended a good place for dinner. The room was large with a nice view.

The staff was a bit pushy about wanting to meet. Breakfast was suggested but also pushed quite hard as well. Privacy could be a bit better, sharing a balcony that doubled as a walkway with the other guests with other guests was a downside. Some of the woodwork was unfinished as well.

Pretty much everything about the place. The bed was very comfortable and the room was big enough to accommodate multiple people if need be. The location was perfect for visiting Camden and wanting to see the smaller towns.

No one was in office when we checked in until after breakfast the next morning. No phone number for emergencies.

Room was very clean. The included breakfast was amazing, cooked right in the homey kitchen which opened across a counter into the eating area. The motel was very convenient to area attractions and the owner provided a local map and suggestions. Pet fee was reasonable at $20/night.

1. Due to a health issue for one of us we needed an extra 2 hours to check out. the folks there were very understanding and granted our request 2. The breakfast was terrific. The gal who prepared it is great fun and a great cook. While enjoying breakfast we got to know several other guests.

There was nothing available in the price range we were looking to spend in this location. Ended up being a home run for us. The breakfast was above and beyond your expectations. The rooms were fine they offered everything you would need for a nights stay. I would definitely stay again!!

The inn was very cute and the room was large. I really enjoyed the breakfast, which was not only complimentary, but actually excellent and homemade by the staff. While I was eating breakfast, I met someone else who was staying at the inn and we ended up talking for three hours. It was an awesome morning!

The breakfast was phenomenal! Three kinds of quiche, incredible hash browns and OMG the blueberry bread pudding! Great way to start the morning. Location was very good in heading out for the Lobster Parade.

I liked that the housekeeper made up our beds and added extra towels while we were out. I also liked how clean the room was!

This was a very clean facility! The housekeeper cleaned our room while we were gone and I was happy to come back to more towels and a made bed!

The room was small with two queen beds, which was fine, but there were no tables, desks, or places to put a suitcase or to set up a computer. There was also no closet to hang clothes. The water faucets were reversed so the hot came out of the cold faucet in the bathroom sink, but the water was nice and hot once you got used to the switch. The sink had no flat area around it for personal items. We ended up having our suitcases on the floor. A small microwave would have been nice. That being said, it worked well for us having the dog and and wanting to be near Camden.

We chose the Schooner Bay Inn because it was close to Camden and we could bring our dog. It was a perfect location for visiting Camden, Rockland, and Belfast The homemade quiches and hot breakfasts were excellent. Although right on Route 1 it was quiet at night. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. There was TV and free wifi. The room was very clean.

The breakfast was superb! Expected a so so breakfast like the ones iserved in motel chains, but the home cooked breakfast at Schooner Bay was absolutely great!! Please thank the cook (we didn't get her name). She is a true gem🙂
