My mother and I had a delightful stay at the RIGGS. From the time we checked in until the end, we had an amazing experience. The comfort and cleanliness of the room, the super attentive staff, and the exquisite cuisine of Cafe Riggs made our experience remarkable in every way possible. RIGGS has become our hotel in DC.

If the hotel bill wasn't covered by conference travel funds I don't think we would stay here again. The hotel is nice and staff were fantastic, but for the price there are hotels not much further away that are a better value and more comfortable. One thing I would note for business travelers is that - while I have no problem working from a bed (and that's why I was fine with us booking this hotel) - it is surprising that there isn't a small desk for business travelers to get some work done - especially at this hotel's price point.

The location of the hotel was perfect for easy walking to the conference center and tourist sites. There were also some places that were more affordable for meals within walking distance. I also liked that there was coffee available in the rooms.

I was in DC with my Family for our Son grad. It Started with a bit of an issue. Afterwards I have seen a supremacy in customer service like never before that you would not see similar standards in nowadays hotel industry. The Hotel GM Mr. Dewayne Wright himself intervened to ensure my experience at Riggs Is unmatchable and he succeeded on this along with his Team. You would notice a niche service from the moment you drop your car until you leave. Mr. Wright and Riggs Team, You have given us an unforgettable time and definatly Riggs will be our always destination at DC. Thank you from all of us

Rooms do not have adequate storage - other than a closet, there is no drawer space for belongings. Air condition/heating system in our room did not function properly; this issue has been noted by the hotel to correct for future guests.

Staff was excellent and responsive to our needs. We had issues with the comfort of our bed and lack of storage space in the room. Caroline was exceptionally attentive to these concerns, changing our room and providing drawers for our use. As to the bed being too soft, she and other staff visited with us, tested the bed and bedding and worked out a solution that made our sleep comfortable - they went above and beyond to assure us of a pleasant, weeklong stay.

Beautiful building with an excellent restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were placed in a room in the very back and we didn’t hear anyone, it was fantastic! Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast great. Fresh! Awesome location to main attractions. Short walk. Dupont circle only 3 short metro stops away. Staff was fabulous. Cafe Riggs great food and bar!! Bed super comfortable.

The location was perfect for a quick walk to the museums and well located for many food options. The rooms were gorgeous and creatively furnished and SO QUIET. We all slept like babes.

Clean, quiet, terrific location, but most of all the staff, and that is *everyone* from concierge to guest services to security to housekeeping, are the most helpful, gracious individuals collected in one hotel!!
