United StatesDo not like where the grills have been moved too. And it was impossible to get a chair around the pool. Other guest would throw a towel on the chair they wanted early in morning then go in for a long time. This should not be allowed

United StatesVery disappointing that people were smoking on balconies (cigarettes, cigars, pot) and I heard multiple guest complaining and reporting it...need to have signage on balconies to reminder smokers to go to smoking areas...and to do better to enforce this...paying to have a balcony and not being able to enjoy it is frustrating...and bar tender complained about her work and BlueGreen non stop to the patrons

United StatesSome features in the hotel weren't available or working. Couldn't swim in the pool after sunset or use the hot tub. Hotel felt like it shut down around 9:00pm. Out of 5 stack units in the Laundry Room, only two of the washers worked and four of the dryers. Room often became hot and muggy in the master bedroom due to the small A/C unit being far away from the bed.
Location is great, right on the beach with easy access. Everything we needed was located within a 5-15min drive. Most staff was nice and attentive. The hotel itself wasn't overly crowded or noisy.

United StatesOK so here is the deal the one thing we didn't like was that this location is a timeshare as well. You know with that you will be solicited for a timeshare!! However the gift package that was offered to us was really good. It was for 7day stay at the location for $20 a night and the only draw back is you have to attend the timeshare meeting. Really that is the only thing that was a dislike.
This trip was for my husband and I 22nd wedding anniversary and we love the beach. Casa Del Mar met all of our expectations!! We love our oceanfront room which was very close to the beach. The condo was clean and bed wonderfully comfortable these units are like apartment so it came equipped with everything you will need! However if you are into super luxurious opulence type hotels and hotel rooms this is not for you. Eventhough it was super luxurious which is not important to me the hotel and room was absolutely accommodating in style, comfort, and location. Btw the location was awesome and safe very quiet area and u have everything within tour reach! We definitely God will return again!!!

United StatesThe bathroom is too far from the bedroom, because having to get up several times a night to go to the bathroom was not a good thing to experience. Also there were a lot of dust on the ceiling fan and base board and some mold on the bathroom tiles. The safety lock on the front is not installed properly so it get stuck every time the door opens.

United StatesI hate that you can't do anything, like changing room location or anything else, unless you are an owner. I also hate the way they are always trying to sell more timeshares. You can't even get a simple parking pass without going through someone. I'm on vacation, not to sit through some presentation. We are older, 64, and 70. We have no intention of buying.
We stayed at the Casa del Mar before it was even condos. I believe it was a Quality Inn. That's been over 40 years ago. We have always loved it.
