We didn't appreciate being charged $10 for the firewood. Read online fireplace wood was complimentary but apparently not in our case, not even to make 1 fire. Didn't care to challenge as we were only there one evening.

The Villa was wonderfully decorated. The moment we walked in it felt so homey and comfortable. The fireplace was awesome and the sound of the creek was amazing and relaxing. We wished we would have stayed longer and plan to return. Everything you need is in the cabin, except, we had to go to front office to request the and carry the firewood for fireplace.

Advertised trout fishing on premises with fishing rods and tackle for guests. Rods were all in disrepair with no tackle. Basketball hoop in area of parking lot, unidentified car parked directly under basket. Limited dinner menu, hamburger served only at lunch, not dinner.

Getting through Sedona traffic on a Saturday night to get there. You'd have to brave that to get to any resort though.

The staff was excellent. They were friendly, attentive, and very professional. The "room" we got was actually a full one bedroom condo with 2 fireplaces, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. It also had a private hot tub and deck. The location is fantastic. 12 miles north of Sedona in Oak Creek Canyon. It was super quiet and had a great view of the canyon walls. The sound of the creek at night was really nice! The restaurant, while pricy, was absolutely amazing and service was excellent.

If there was one suggestion it would be to replace the shower heads and add an extender. The shower head is probably 30 years old and I had to bend to wash my hair - I’m only 5’7” so I can only imagine what is was like for my 6’5” husband. It would have also been nice to be stocked with firewood for our arrival, but we didn’t go thru the effort to get more to have a fire.

The place had a cute, mountain lodge feel. It was nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all of the essentials. My daughter loved sleeping in the loft and going up and down the spiral staircase. And the hot tub was lovely! A great way to warm the bones after trekking in the cold for hours. It was easy to get to and out of the crowds. We appreciated the woods like setting and the swing out front. There was even a basketball hoop for my son!

The staff at reception can be friendly or very curt, depending on who's on shift. Most of our interactions weren't great: they seemed bothered and bored. Customer service left a lot to be desired; eg. getting needed items to the room. Repeated requests were ignored.

The property is among the trees near a creek: you can sit out on the patio and it's gorgeous and peaceful. Our studio had a working fireplace to keep warm and it all felt cozy. NOTE to prospective travellers: each studio/room is privately owned and the amenities and quality could vary.

We loved our cabin but just a couple suggestions. The cabin was pretty dusty and the floor vents are full of hair and dirt! More blankets would be nice and the toilet paper was rough, we ended up buying our own and more towels! Now, talking about noise. I know this may sound strange but there was me and my daughter and niece. I slept on the couch and was very comfortable and they slept in the master suite! When we went to bed we kept hearing strange noises! Creaky doors and weird sounds! My daughter felt like I came in the room and was standing over the bed but when she heard me cough in the other room she realized it wasn’t me in the room which scared her to death! Now I know this sounds strange and we probably sound like a couple of looney tunes but all 3 of us heard it! We built some awesome fires but saw sparks and flames coming from the chimney outside so we knocked down our fire and it stopped! Other than that we loved it!

The restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday. 😔This was our wedding anniversary get-away and we planned on eating our meals at their restaurant. We were able to buy a turkey pot pie (homemade) from their refrigerator, which served as our dinner and breakfast the next morning. No store, market or any other restaurant was open or nearby.

We prefer to bring food and cook rather than dealing with the crowds of Sedona. It seems like the kitchens are not stocked as well as before. For example, there was no blender which I needed for morning smoothies. (but housekeeping found one and brought it us). Minimal amount of dishes. We had to handwash dishes and glasses pretty much after each meal. I think I'll start bring disposable dishes.

Junipine is always my "go to" for a quick relaxing get away. We were there at the perfect timing for the changing of the leaves. There was even a bright red one right in front of the balcony. We also did the Verde Valley train which was more beauty and fall leaves. It amazes me how close the homes can be and the property still be so quiet. It feels like were the only ones there. So peaceful... By the way, each condo is different.
