The breakfast tried hard but didn't quite deliver. The hot options (omelets and sausage bagels) were not good. The kids enjoyed the waffles and I stuck with the toast.

Very decent suites with excellent facilities (indoor pool, extensive gym, free laundry, kitchenette). Good location just a short walk from the main street. Decent-sized room for our family of 5.

The room was a little dirty in spots that go unnoticed. The baseboard under the kitchenette had food on it and the carpet areas had a lot of debris near the baseboards and next to the dressers. There was only one towel regular towel but 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths for a room that had 2 queen beds.

The pillows and mattress were comfortable and the room was large and tastefully decorated. The tv was large and swiveled easily from the seating area to the bed. The shower was clean and the water was very hot. The kitchenette was great and hat all necessities.

For some reason my room wasn't made up one of the days.

Very impressed. Large room with comfortable bed, a good sized desk to work at and a little kitchen area. Very convenient for downtown and about 10 minutes walk from the Amtrak station. I felt very comfortable there. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive and reasonable quality. And ignore comments about being woken up by trains in the night; they're out of date as they don't blow their horns going through Charlottesville any more!

Overall, the property was wonderful. We were disappointed that there wasn’t much of a selection for breakfast. So much so that we actually thought we were late and it had closed.

It was in a central location where there were plenty of accessible places to eat or have fun.

Breakfast was pretty mediocre. It's nice that you can use actual dishes and silverware for the meal. But if you just wanted to grab something to take back to the room, there was nothing for that.

I love the layout of the rooms. They are so comfortable. The bed was super comfy too.

Front desk person was NEVER at the desk. When arriving to check in, he was sitting on a couch in the lobby. We called down and got no answer. Found him outside smoking cigarettes twice. Had to hunt him down to ask for an additional pillow. Also, hotel is right near train tracks. Half of us woke up with a 2AM train, half slept through it. Another train came through at 5AM.

Location was convenient walking distance to several breweries and restaurants. We were in town to see Monticello and found the room itself to be as nice as expected for this price. Outdoor seating area with firepit was very nice.

We booked through bookings.com while we were on the road that day and the hotel didn’t have our reservation when we arrived. The gentleman at the desk, who was patient and kind, could not do anything about it. Booking.com was difficult to reach but We finally got through to booking.com and got everything straightened out. This had nothing to do with the hotel …just wished we had booked with the hotel directly. After this horrible experience I will never use booking.com as my first option.

Good location with a short walk to bars and restaurants, clean and comfortable rooms and easy to park at the hotel. We didn't stop for breakfast but it looked good with a choice of options available.

The night we stayed a Thunder storm hit which meant we were no longer out for the evening and returned to our room only to discover we also had no tv to watch as this is satellite television. We have Direct Tv at home and switched to streaming it instead of the dish and that issue goes away. I heard many other guests complain about it as well. You should probably change that. There’s alternative options these days, why keep something that doesn’t meet your guests expectations?
