Elevator not repaired 😞 out of order! But really didn't mind the walk across the building to the other elevator.

The toilets were too low, the bathrooms were small, the water in shower was hard to get to hot, had to toggle between two shower heads so it flowed hot, the toilet flushed so loud it wakes neighbors. Basically bathrooms aren’t well thought out for tall or older people. The “mixologist” tried to overstate the kitchen, and also wanted to make sure you didn’t come in and order at the last minute, because of having to pay employees to stay on the clock. We had to wait for service at the bar in the evening and when we got it, it seemed like we were interrupting a “nap” .

The picture on Booking.com showed an ocean view, and I asked for that in the comments, but when we got there, the desk clerk said I had booked a standard room only, and all the ocean view rooms were taken. There was nothing on Booking to suggest upgrading to an ocean view room.

Having the such an excellent restaurant on the property was a bonus! The food and drinks were great, and the serving staff was excellent. The beds in the room were very comfortable.

HVAC noise and constant draft in the hallway, from a vent directly across from our room (#534) was loud, as was the elevator. There were small flies in the bathroom, and the source was not apparent. The pool was not heated, so unusable at 60 degrees F. Granted this was mid February, but the hotel was full and it would have made the stay much more enjoyable. Parking near the beachside rooms was not adequate, so you had a long walk to get to those rooms most evenings. Price was good, but short term rental options were a better deal for 4 or more guests.

Had a nice oceanfront room with balcony on the top floor. Room was clean and well furnished. Lobby and other facilities were useful and clean. Pool area was well appointed and Pool Tiki Bar was generally open in good weather.

There was a lack of storage for our clothes. It would have been nice if there was a dresser. We had to leave clothes in the suitcases.

The room was big. The bed was comfortable. Rooms were cleaned every day.

They gave us a dirty room and we’re not very apologetic about it. They had about an hour and a half since we were late checking in to clean it. I believe I should have gotten either an upgrade or a discount for the inconvenience of waiting for them to get us another room.

Television could have some pay per view options or access to streaming

Hotel had a lobby and seating area for relaxing out of room. There was a bar and restaurant. The food was very good and the staff very accommodating. Rooms were nice enough.

Unfortunately the pool isn't heated, so was not used. Would be great if they had a hot tub.

Only thing we really didn't like couple in the Next Room kept us up all night fighting walls are thin could hear every word they were saying till 3:00 a.m.

The restaurant was great! The motel, pool, and beach were fine. It’s just a nice clean old motel. I normally stay at newer or renovated properties. We stayed here the same week 4 years ago and knew what to expect. I would stay here again. The property deserves a rehab but it would be more expensive so I understand where they are. Stay here and enjoy. If you are staying close, come visit the restaurant and bar.
