Loud hallways. Elevator was out the whole stay and I was on the 4th floor. Ice machine also out of service. Upgraded to room with a view and was recommended the 4th floor only to look onto the tops of the trees. So 3rd or 2nd floor would’ve been better. Had to wait for maintenance to turn on my air conditioner while my room was 84 degrees.

The bathroom amenities could have been slightly higher quality, but they were fine. I have no other suggestion.

The front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were big, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There were adequate amenities. Housekeeping staff was quick and good. The location was nice, right on the river. Sadly the weather was cold and rainy when we were there so we didn't have a chance to enjoy the view very much. We paid the extra for breakfast which allowed us to order off the full menu for no additional charge. That was a nice surprise. Also parking was ample and convenient.

The view of the river was excellent, the island area had plenty of shops and amenities nearby. I found the place to very quiet and relaxing with a nearby walk around next to the river.

Room noise was extremely loud. Room was extremely hot when we arrived. AC eventually took care of that but the hallways (4th floor) were uncomfortably warm.

The west wing rooms on the west side of the building face the freeway and can be very noisy. Be aware of this when booking and asking about where room placement is. There are very nice views available from the rest of the hotel.

This is a great location with easy access to Portland, I-5, and Vancouver. Shopping and some restaurants are nearby. The river is a great bonus, as is a walkway along the river. The outdoors pool is larger than most hotel pools and there are tennis/pickle-ball courts as well. This is also where the America’s Cruise Line disembarks from their Columbia River cruise. Large conference facilities accommodate many outside groups. Staff were very helpful - I had a non-functioning Keurig in my room and someone came to replace it immediately. There are many places in Portland where you may have homeless encampments nearby, but this is not one of them. As of my visit in 2023, the grounds were regularly patrolled by security and felt safe and secure.

I was on the 1st floor, and the hallway smelled musty and gross. There are many people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot.

The housekeeping staff were not too thorough as they failed to replenish our coffee/tea/cups.

Beautiful view of River. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were taking an American Cruise Line trip and the boat picked us up from the dock behind d the hotel. The restaurant had a varied menu and was pretty good, especially breakfast. Rooms were comfy and spacious. We were concerned about our safety in coming to Portland. The hotel is located on Hayden Island and we felt very safe. Also, the hotel recommended "My Chauffeur" for a Willamette Wine Country Tour, and it was phenomenal!! I highly recommend this company if you want a tour that is tailored to your specific interests and preferences in wine.

The bathroom is very small.

The staff was awesome! They are the main reason I’d stay again. They offered snack items and bottled water when we checked in. Extremely pleasant when we checked out. They were sure to ask if we had any issues during our stay. We were able to bring the dog with us. I thought the beds were comfortable but my daughter likes soft and thought they were too hard.

I didn’t like how the elevators where not near the front entrance but had to walk always down each corridor to get to an elevator. Also the wait staff in the restaurant was very understaffed, and didn’t seem knowledgeable about customer service. Customers would be seated, then forgot about and customers sat after them where helped.

Cleanliness overall - the view from almost every spot was great but the windows were all fairly grungy; the gym was very unkempt - garbage can overflowing, floor not vacuumed. The room itself was very clean, except the bathroom floor had quite a bit of hair in the corners and also two dried up contact lenses stuck to the floor.

The breakfast was delicious! Lots of selection on the menu. The pool area was also very nice. The view of the river was beautiful as well. The hotel room and hallways were very wide and spacious.

The bars on the balcony are full of cottonwood seeds and spider webs. My microwave and refrigerator were not plugged in and we couldn’t figure out how to plug them in. The outlet was somehow hidden. The renovations are very nice but I liked the old location of the restaurant and bar better. It was so nice to sit and eat breakfast and look out the windows at the view.

Lovely pool . The location on the river is nice with views of Mt. Hood. Room is a good size. The beds are very comfortable. Staff accommodated us and moved us to a view room the second day of our stay. We received a breakfast voucher since they could not move us initially. Espresso was good! Breakfast was delicious and served hot. Plenty of parking for no charge.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned which made me wonder what else was missed by housekeeping. Previous room occupant's dried pee was on the toilet seat and his pubes were on two of the towels.

Room location overlooking Columbia River with great views. Bed was super comfortable. TV had cable and adjustable angle wall mount. Very large room size.

The pool was fantastic, the view was great, we were comfortable in our poolside room, and breakfast was good (but as with everywhere, they did not have enough servers so it was a little slow).
