No soundproofing at all, not ideal for light sleepers. Room service was a bit hit and miss: great service on first day but bare minimum on second day.

Lovely reception staff and very good location.

They didn’t service the room. Apparently you have to request it but we weren’t informed of that at check in. Also, there should have been coffee service in the room for the price; there is only a tea kettle and you have to pay for coffee in the coffee shop downstairs. Other than that the stay was nice.

All staff was very friendly but with the price of the rooms, coffee and maid service should be included.

Great location, only 1 min walk from U district metro stop, only takes 10 mins to get into Seattle city center via the train. The art deco design of the room was very nice. The room felt luxurious

Nothing to complain at the hotel. Though be aware when beeing in downtown from Pike street to the south-east till Chinatown - there the drug addicts are quite crazy and a lot of them :( nicer areas I considered to be from Pine street to the west, especially around the space needle and at the Piers and of course one highlight is the Pike Street Market.

Rooms are of special "student style" in many cute details. Very comfortable bed. Very close to UDistrict station of the Light Link train, which gets you to Capitol Hill (nice area, nice restaurants) in 10min, downtown in 15min and directly to the airport in 45min for ~3$. Area is really nice with some bars and restaurants and because of the university just around the corner with many young and nice people on the streets.

The 20% "tip" already added to the drinks in the mountaineer club, and then a space was left for a tip. When we arrived there was a strong smell of cannabis on our floor Being called "walk ups" when we'd just come down in the lift from our room before we were allowed entry to the club. We were guests FFS!

    Bed was comfortable

    Would prefer a little cleaner:)

I loved the view from the Skyview room that I booked although I wish the windows were cleaner. The bed is supercomfy too. I was visiting for a conference and needed to be close to UW. The campus is amazing! Defs recommend to check out the neighbourhood. The link is in 1 minute from the hotel and you can easily reach downtown, as well as Gaspark, Ballard Locks and Kerry Park.

Had to call the front desk to get a mini fridge in the room and when I gave the valet a 15 minute heads up that I was coming down soon they still didn't have my car ready when we arrived to leave.

Room was small and cramped, no microwave. Didn't feel like good value for money.

Super convenient location across the street from light rail station. Also near many restaurants and supermarket 2 blocks away. Excellent view of Seattle skyline from rooftop bar.

The menu at the Mountaineer Club. Needs more selection of real food, not just dips and crackers. Smoked salmon dip tasted like tuna salad that I make for sandwiches, not something special and delicious like I'd expect from a four star restaurant. Also, servings for sampler plate were tiny.

The vintage remodel and the staff.Everyone was really friendly, and the guy that was the host for the restaurant even remembered my name. I loved the view from the room and from the restaurant.

I enjoyed the decor and ambiance of the hotel. The location in the U District was good. We were able to walk to lots of restaurants and find street parking nearby at a fraction of the price of valet parking.

Old building and bathroom didn’t have ventilation or fan so it stayed moist and smelled musty. There werent many people there so noise wasn’t an issue but you can tell that it would be a problem due to thin walls. The gym had 4 cardio machines, two were broken.

Good location, spacious room with comfortable bed, nice bar on top with space needle views and great drinks
