Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe AC in the bedroom did not work. It would only blow hot air, which is probably why it was unplugged when we arrived. The hot tub did not work right. Only one jet worked & two jets had sharp broken pieces. There was never anyone at the desk with whom to talk.
The room was exceptionally clean & well stocked with towels & such. It was decently priced for the amenities offered.

United StatesThe pool sign stated the regulated temperature was 80 degrees. I don’t think the pool was even 63 degrees. My wife and I had high hopes of getting our little one in the pool (first time he’s only 5 months). Other than the pool, everything else about our stay was exceptional.

United StatesThe room had a funky odor. The pillows were not good. The blinds didn't close all the way, so no privacy. The vending machines had 4 items... Pop machine was out of service, although they were selling bags of chips and warm pop from behind the counter.. :/

United StatesWhen we arrived we overheard a group of people talking to the person at the front desk frustrated that they got charged twice for the same room. This happen to me at the last hotel, so I was concern about my outcome too. The other issue was a lady was on the elevator and she was livid. Their toilet overflow and was a huge mess. She was as coming down a SECOND time to tell them to clean up the bathroom.
The location of the hotel was perfect. It was ten minutes away from the event we were heading to. Breakfast was hot and ready and perfect kick off for the ride home.

United StatesIt would of been nice to have actually shampoo, condition and lotion instead of lotion lotion and conditioner. No way to wash my hair!!! BOOOO!! It would of been a nicer visit if the receptionist informed me of breakfast and what not around the hotel. No information, not even detail on where my room was. He needs to be way MORE personable.
The room was actually clean including the bedding. The hotel guest were distantly quiet. It was really actually a nice hotel except for a couple issues that to me are minor they can fix!

Also, we stayed there 2 nights and I was disappointed that housekeeping didnt tidy up a little in-between, like new towels, condiments, garbage.

United StatesThe pool was closed. This was not mentioned on the booking page or their website and the primary reason we booked this location was for the pool. This was also not mentioned upon check-in. Looking over reviews, other people had this same complaint and the hotel replied saying they would fix that by letting guests know this so I assumed the pool was open finally when we weren't informed. They STILL DO NOT inform guests. How hard is it to type up a paper, print it, and put it on the front desk? The effort takes less than 5 minutes. Only other complaint is the hotel smelled terribly of cigarette smoke/marijuana. As someone with asthma, this was difficult at times.
The room was very clean and the spa tub was great. All the jets worked too, which was wonderful. The room was also very spacious. Breakfast was decent and expected for a continental. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but not what we were hoping for.
