The walls or the door were a little thin — whenever the guests from nearby rooms came or went, I heard their entire conversations. One of the front-desk staff was unfriendly and unhelpful (fortunately, I encountered him only once).

I booked a room with breakfast that was terrible. It is not a buffet but they give you a coupon for American Breakfast only which was a few eggs, bacon and toast. Not worth it!

The room was spacious and had a mini fridge and nespresso coffee machine. Beds were comfy and friendly staff.

The place is not so far to the White House and it is close to good restaurants. The staff is extremely kind and the hotel is stylish. We appreciated its cleanliness as well.

The water pressure in the bath is quite low. The breakfast is not a buffet and the maître is not that kind. And also, we need to depend on his desire to drink more coffee. And it's the same thing, every day. In my opinion, this is the weakest point of this good hotel.

This hotel is very comfortable and the location is great. Its rooms are very spacious and quiet. The cleaning is good and the staff is friendly.

I have stayed here several times when I visit DC and I plan to continue that tradition. The staff is always friendly and professional, the rooms are comfortable and I enjoy breakfasts here. It is a short walk from the White House, Smithsonian museums, Dupont Circle and various Metro stops. The lobby is cozy and inviting.

The location is perfect walk to the White House and all museums. Perfect if you have a student at UCDC. The hotel is right next door.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Very nice closet space and large bathroom. There was construction outside but with the door closed to the balcony you couldn’t hear anything. Great coffee and water provided in the room. The lobby is huge with lots of working and sitting space. Really nice atmosphere overall.

Excellent location - good restaurants are at a walkable distance, clean and it felt safe. Wholefoods, CVS and Wawa is at a walkable distance in case you want to buy water or snacks for your room. Lunch at the hotel was really good too. The staff at the hotel is friendly, but not in overly friendly where they bother you, just there when you need them.

The room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect with easy walking access to the metro, buses and the White House. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. The staff were fantastic, especially the cleaners and front desk, though everyone was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late the first night when most restaurants were closed and enjoyed a few tasty items in the hotel restaurant. I would definitely stay here again. It's so nice not to need a car in DC, but if you need to park one all the hotels charge a fee.

Spacious, comfortable rooms. Great location, close to the White House, and all the amazing museums and sites, and easy access to Georgetown. They had bikes that could be used for the whole day. The staff were fantastic, especially Brett at the front desk. He was friendly and very helpful throughout our entire stay!

Booking said the room had a balcony and it did not. My husband is a smoker and prefers a room with a balcony.

I felt right at home in this place, the front desk staff were amazing, the bar and restaurant people were just as nice, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is great, within a 10 minutes walk of the White House. Loved staying there

I’ve received a message before checking in about the need of wearing a face mask (and that their staff is also wearing masks). So I bought one. But when I checked in nobody (other guests and also staff) was wearing a mask. So why was this message even sent?
