The mineral pool was broken when I arrived. They upgraded me to a room with the small mineral inside the room. It was wonderful.

Not very close to the park, and there are no areas to walk around. I had to upgrade the room as there was no hot spring tub in the original booking.

The location is very secluded and quiet. It is very peaceful to wind down the day of a busy life. The staff is very accommodating and nice.

the manager on duty is not very friendly, luckily all other staff are helpful onsen bathing facilities is old and lacking, like like soup and shampoo at the seated bathing area, which is a given for any Japanese onsen, even those from value hotels. Minimum efforts will increase their level to their Japanese counterpart, but this may seems to be unnecessary from their management point of view.

breakfast was acceptable. located in front of the mountain, which is tranquil. onset had middle temperature pool which is a plus. a cafe in the lobby is a nice add on with outdoor garden with seating.

Considering the price, the hotel was smaller than we expected, you will reach all facilities and hotel grounds within 3 minutes walking distance. The breakfast area was rather crowded, some people had to share a table at a big round table with strangers.

Room was comfortable and very spacious with big bed. Although the hotel was smaller than we imagined, we still used most of the facilities and enjoyed our stay, including indoor naked hotspring, outdoor swimming pool, snooker, table tennis. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was standard. Few minutes car ride to nearest convenience store.

Probably they’re lack of enough resources since we arrived at 3 PM and our room was not ready yet so we waited for another 30 mins and they changed our room as well. And they said they will provide special snacks but we needed to remind them at night since they were not coming at the promised time. The breakfast honestly just okay and the coffee machine was broken.

We decided to stay in this hotel because of the perfect location very close to Yangmingshan National Park area and Yangmingshan American Military housing area which has a lot of nice cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is pretty old, but still comfortable enough. Even thou it’s close to Yangmingshan, the view is just okay since it’s close to residential area. The bed is comfortable and the hot spring tub is really great. It was my birthday when we stayed there and I got some nice birthday snacks.

Very old hotel. Room was old, stuff were scratched and torn. Air-conditioning was not cold. Hot spring bath was old, tiles were cracked and moldy. Bathroom was discoloured in many places.

When we got to the allegedly "Superior" room it was in the basement, with a view of a road and someone else's house,, and very dingy. The rooms and the rest of the public facilities were not well maintained carpet, lamps, chair, all had stains. The rec room carpet looked like it had blood or rust on it. The staff was not great during check in and provided really poor customer service when we tried to ask if we could make a change as we arrived. We could see online tons of rooms were still available that night and wanted to upgrade and pay the difference. I messaged ahead of time to ask if this was okay but didn't get a response. We asked again at the front desk and were told they would check and see for us and made to wait a while. Then told this wasn't possible, then that it was but only at much higher prices than online, then not possible. When we asked to get the manager's help the staff pretended to call the manager but clearly did not. When I would ask for explanations or why we were being given certain answers the two people helping would stare at me blankly and not answer. Then we would be given the same explanation again that made no sense. We would have preferred to just be told right away "Sorry this isn't possible with your type of reservation." Then suddenly gave us the upgraded room with a very rude attitude like they just wanted to get rid of us. The whole thing was a huge bummer of a way to start a weekend. We felt afraid to go back to the front desk the rest of our stay and just generally felt like a burden. Price was way too high for the rooms and service. If this was a 3 Star hotel and half the price it would have been fine but it made me angry to pay this much for this level of service and maintenance of the hotel. Everything smelled way too strong of sulfur.

The hotsprings rooms are pretty nice for the price range and I especially appreciated the massage jacuzzi jets in the large room.
