The pool area needs a total refurbishment as the decking had screw protruding and the actual pool had tiles missing and broken. Not child friendly at all.

There were a few areas that needed to be addressed. The pool had many tiles missing and could be a danger. The decking around the pool had many screws sticking up, which were also a danger, and the shower doors in the room needs attention. The shuttle bus, although it was a welcome addition it could run more often as the times it did run were limited and not very suitable.

We enjoyed being close to the beach and being able to access it with ease.

Felt more like 4 stars hotel, the bathroom is very old and the shower looked dirty , pool wasn’t so clean and the breakfast is not vegetarian friendly

Breakfast was a dissapointment, eggs pre-fried and overcooked. The restaurant was only used for breakfast. Place is looking tired, in need of some TLC. Pool bar was closed and dirty.

Breakfast was the only meal offered in the Restaurant. Omelette and scrambled eggs freshly cooked. Fruit was good and plentiful, just not enough mango offered, only once or twice in an 18 day stay. Pool is great, seems to be heated a bit so not cold enough for some in the party. Pool side restaraunt the only place to eat in the place in the afternoon/evening, good food and residents get a discount on food. Happy hour was goog though it lasted for three hours. Beach area is so close its great, miles of sand etc. Tamarind Market is an easy walk and cheap buses/taxis of the hop on/off type are easy to use or the hotel has a bus service to the main shopping areas.

The water in the shower never would get warm. I used the gym once, but there was no air conditioning, so it was like working out in a sauna.

The hotel grounds were very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet it had a huge variety of food.

The room and the bathroom was looking rather tired. We have chosen not to eat in the hotel as the food sadly wasn't great. A little disappointed with the pool restaurant and sunbed beach front setting area which is in need of some improvement.

The location of the hotel was perfect, the view from our room was wonderful. Beautiful low rise buildings and gardens. Very peaceful stetting. We have the fruits sent to the room every few days. Service and staff was simply excellent.

It is a large site, which requires a lot of ongoing maintenance. This is a constant job and there will always be things that need some attention, especially given the wonderful character of the buildings and furnishings. We really liked this character, but it may not be to everyone's taste.

Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice and space. The staff at the hotel were exceptional - from the car park guys to the housekeeping team. They were always very keen to help. We ate at the hotel three times in the evenings. The food was very good, good value and if we had been any closer to the sea, we would have been in it! The two local markets - Tamarind and Cicada - are excellent. Much more than the standard street markets. A great stay.

The spread of breakfast though ample was a problem for us. We are pure vegetarians and there was only salad which could be eaten. Even though the chef was helpful enough to whip up some fried rice the overall experience left us wanting for more.

I loved the deck area and personal direct beach access. Also the pool was fabulous and the kids had a blast. The ample availability of pool towels and the ever smiling eager to help super staff for service of drinks and food added to the overall experience.

Although it’s by the beach, can only walk on it during low tide. Water is very shallow. Food can be improved

It’s nicely renovated in Thai style. The staff are helpful. It offers free shuttle to town centre. It’s near the cicada and tamarind market which are excellent. 40 minutes walk to khoa takiap in the morning when it’s not so hot. Massage is good
