ThailandEven though there was a rule, smoking&weed prohibited in the hotel, there were groups of guests who smoked weed in the hotel (right above our room and we couldn't sit at the balcony to enjoy the view. However, we knew that this is not the hotel's fault, but still want them to realise about this situation and find the best way to handle with it in the future with other guests.
Cleanliness is superb and the staff was really helpful and kind, greeting us with warm welcome.

United KingdomCould have done with louder music by the pool, as you could only hear the booming of the beach club next door. I would be careful about the tour attractions that you book. We wanted to do the pig island tour but it was absolutely terrible. We got left on the island for three hours, with awful food and nothing to do after you’ve seen the pigs. You could do this tour in an hour, so I’d recommend to hire a private long boat.
The property was beautiful and contemporary. The breakfast had a great selection, and the hotel was very clean from the moment you stepped in. The staff were always lovely and very helpful. We booked a tour through the hotel, which turned out to be a disaster, but we complained to reception and didn’t have to pay which was a nice gesture. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the app they use for hotel facilities is great. The location is fantastic. 10 minutes from the airport so it’s a cheaper transfer. There is a 7/11 opposite, which if you haven’t been to Thailand, is the best thing since sliced bread. You have an array of different restaurants to chose from, not as lively as the ones in fisherman’s village, but still great food. ‘The Beer Hun’ opposite the hotel is great for cocktails (100ThB) and they do towers of beer that sit on your table for easy pouring. Overall would highly recommend this hotel. Thanks

We love this hotel and have stayed here previously. This time we got the pool villa, its very very well decorated and beautiful but the room is a little smaller than it looks in pictures. We still really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was great and staff were friendly. Beautiful main pool and views.

A superb hotel situated in a prime location, complemented by a highly convenient room service app. The pool and dining facilities are exceptional, and the addition of a yoga class on Friday afternoons at sunset adds a touch of magic to the experience. The food is excellent, enhancing the overall stay. Perfectly situated in front of a 7/11 and within reach of decent restaurants and bars, yet maintaining a serene and intimate atmosphere. We are planning to return.

It was a great hotel, very new and clean. The room was large and modern and the bed was super comfortable, oh and the shower is huge and very luxurious. We stayed there for one night with our 10 months old baby as we were between landing at Samui airport to taking the ferry to oh Pha-ngan. The staff were so helpful and kind to us and to our baby. It is super close to the Bangkok pier (which is why we chose this hotel) and to other restaurants and bars. We would totally recommend it!

BelgiumThe rooms are a bit noisy, you can hear what is happening in the rooms next or above you. We had calm neighbours so not a big problem. The inside breakfast is rather small and not a lot of shadow on the outside terrace.
The hotel is not so big, resulting in a relaxed stay. All the staff is super friendly. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast offers enough options. The location is excellent, only a short taxi drive to Fisherman's village. The pier to start a tour to Ang Thong Marine park is also very close.

AustriaFood and drinks have been a bit expensive but it is a 5 star hotel so this would be expected. The food we have eaten once (penne) have been good also on a good looking plate but the portion was extremely small (I have been hungrier after eating then before)
Super friendly staff, the rooms have always been very clean, Air conditioning worked perfectly well, ordering water and everything you need via the app was convenient, you could also get an ironing station. Really good and long breakfast.

GermanyThe area has a little problem with mosquitoes. I understand, it is a tropical island, there is bound to be insects. However, when we checked-in, there were quite a few in our room. The gym area also had mosquitoes - if the staff takes care of this, this hotel would get even better. The room we got looked in to the neighbor's house. Pro-Tip : make sure you book a room in the block which directly overlooks the sea/swimming pool area.
We really enjoyed our stay at U Samui. At this price point, this is one of the better Hotels in Ko Samui. The beachfront sitting area was brilliant - we were there every evening. It was really cool seeing airplanes land at the nearby airport. The hotel has almost all the facilities one can think of (gym, swimming pool, concierge, restaurant etc).- really good!

Good size rooms, very clean, comfortable bed, well funcitoning air con - overall had good sleep/rest here. Beautiful swimming pool and excellent services by the hotel staff.

We loved this hotel! Hotel is in a very good location, near main pier, a lot of local food places, only ~7min from the airport. Staff is excelent and helpful! Views from the window are spectacular. Both room and bathroom is very spacious. Pool area is not big, but very cosy, clean, stylish and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, not too many variants, but definitely enough.
