ThailandNoise from the road/beach day time and load live music at the beach at night. AC in room is more like a fan set at one temp. Communal toilets and shower facilities, although clean and not busy.
Stayed 1 night to join the annual KohLarn Trail race Feb 3-4. Since we the race starts at 5.30, we couldn't have breakfast at the premises. Requested a breakfast pack to be collected at 8 pm the night before, which they kindly agreed. They delivered 1 pack of half club sandwich, French fries, and a sachet of coffee, and 1 pack of 3 boiled eggs + coffee. The tent was clean, and location excellent with great view from the Roof. Toilets and Shower facilities were clean. The main draw back is that we needed to sleep early for the early start of the race, but unfortunately for us there was a live band entertaining restaurant patron at the beach next to the camp started playing from around 8 till almost mid night, and subsequently we could hear other music in other restaurants in the area. so could not sleep more than a couple of hours at most. also perhaps given the facilities, the camp is a bit over priced, particularly weekend rates. Having said that, I would stay again and recommend the experience.

ThailandBooked through Booking.com for 4,000 baht on New Year's Eve. I understand that it is a special night and prices are probably around this. Plus, all other accommodation was fully booked and there were no options. On the first day on the island, I was not impressed. I called the resort to pick me up at the pier. The resort said that the car was broken and I should take a songthaew taxi myself. The resort would pay for the taxi fare. That was fine, I could walk to the songthaew stop. It was very hot from the pier and I had to walk to the songthaew stop. When I arrived, I waited to check in. They had me wait in the cafe. The staff were very late. They were sitting and drinking beer, finishing a bottle before they finally came. They didn't ask about the taxi fare or if they would be reimbursed. I didn't ask because I was waiting for the resort to ask. When the staff finally arrived, I asked how much the room cost. The staff said 4,000 baht. They also said that I had booked a very expensive room. Normally, people only pay 1,600 baht for weekdays. The maximum for weekends and holidays is 3,000 baht. They said this, but I didn't say anything because I had booked through Booking.com (I expected more for 4,000 baht). As for the bedroom, the bedsheets were covered in sand. I was very itchy and couldn't sleep that night. It was New Year's Eve, so I went out to celebrate. I didn't realize that the bed was not okay until almost 1am. At that time, I couldn't contact anyone. I sent a message to the resort's phone, but there was no response. I think that for 4,000 baht, I could have stayed at a better hotel. But this resort didn't do anything to make it up to me. And I saw the staff pick up salad vegetables with their hands without using tongs during breakfast. I will not stay here again.
I just like the cafe downstairs, it's beautiful and looks modern.

Russiavery quiet and calm. very polite workers and boss. there is a cafe on the ground floor. offer a discount on ordering at their cafe. food 9/10. breakfast was delicious, at dinner the wine and salad were delicious, but the fish and rice was a little salty for me. The room itself is clean. There is everything you need for your stay. had a wonderful evening thank you. I recommend visiting
