How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bed was quite hard but that’s typical of Thailand.
Great location, steps from the beach. In Mae Haad so quieter than Sairee but still lots of good food and bars around. Right next door to Master Divers which is a huge plus. Mr. T the owner was very helpful and has a little shop next door for all the essentials.

Nothing, was a little bit hot at night but for this price I don’t expect AC. Fan worked perfectly.
Location was very central, close to the beach with amazing sunsets I could leave my luggage before checking in Bungalow was clean and cosy, had everything you need, even refrigerator

Few ants in the room and some power outages but nothing else expected in Thailand. Would say that the hot water in the shower did not work.
Great location, short walk from the pier! Worth getting a room with aircon. Can hire a bike and snorkels from the shop. Very good and quick laundry service. Staff were super helpful and always friendly.

No air con is a bit rubbish. The fan does ok but you definitely still get hot in there
The staff are so lovely and so efficient. I booked extra nights stay and they sorted it so quickly and the location is quiet and tucked away a bit. Right near a quiet beach and nice chill beach bars

Only a fan in our room so it gets quitw hot, bathroom was kinda dirty and the fridge as well (had black spots on top of it)

It's next to a bar. When there is a party, you'll hear it.

Bathroom could use some updating. Neighbors and staff were quite loud. Music and yelling til 12am ..bring headphones/ear plugs.
Great little bungalow off the beaten path, close to everything tho. Bedding was newer (extra firm but felt good,) smelled wonderful, no overly scented sheets, fridge, hot water, porch, AC/Fan all worked well. Easily can walk to diving (master diver) , massage (Kinneree,) food (Moonlight BBQ ,) bar/drinks (Goodtimes,) and best snorkeling I found is just out and west of Goodtimes, there’s a shipwreck.

The room only really fits the bed, and nothing else, so exercising on the floor, for example, is tricky. Shower pressure is not great, and they're a little stingy on the toilet paper. The older guy in the reception is a bit flippant.
Very close to the pier, walking distance. A stone throw from the beach. Cozy porch in front of the bungalow.

The bathroom. The loo doesn't flush. You have to flush it manually with a bucket of water. Very weak shower.
Good price and we liked the location. Only a 5 minute walk from the pier. The staff are lovely 😊

The wi fi was not very good. Also, the fan was not enough to keep the room cool.

The bed was very hard. The door lock didn't seem to be very theft safe. One window was broken and could not be closed. But again totally acceptable for the money I paid in high season.
Great value for your money. Easy to reach by foot from the ferry. Nice balconies.

Nothing- you get what you pay for!
Very close to pier, lovely staff and clean room. Nice restaurants surrounding it and on a really quiet beach. Lots of bike rentals around which I would recommend so you can see more of the island.

The bungalow is old and dirty. After 4 nights we got used to it but there are a lot of bugs (yes, it is surrounded by nature, but we have been in other bungalows and it was not the case). The mirror is so rusty you can't see anything and the walls need cleaning and repainting. One of the pillows they gave us was like a stone. I think it is not so good value for money, but it also depends on the options available on the island. We thought it was better from the photos.
I'd say the best is the location (note: the other side of Sairee beach but many restaurants and coffee shops around, 5 mins away of the port). The bungalow has a decent size. The staff is nice and understandable.
