How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The host does not speak English well. On the first day I asked for an iron and they did not seem to know what I was asking for. The next day I had a conference to attend and got the iron just one hour before my conference. They actually had an iron but did not understand that I was looking for it the night before. It was a major inconvenience for me because this happened. The other thing is that they do not have a cupboard to hang clothes. For something like attending a conference, this is not the right accommodation. For a casual visit, it is perfect.
The location is just fantastic. The room is big. It's great value for money. Everything is close to the location. There are two 7/11s in the vicinity not too far away.

The bed is uncomfortable, and more than just being too soft, its just poor quality - you can feel the springs pushing though. Also, I had a problem with noise one night. My room was at the end of the building and from 4am-8am one night there was a noise of some kind of machine coming from the neighbour, it was loud and I couldn't sleep. After about 3 hours of it I went down and told the owner/lady on reception using Google Translate - she just smiled and did nothing which was pretty poor customer service.. Like she just didn't care even at all to even give me a response. I tried talking to the neighbours over the balcony but that didn't work either unfortunately. Eventually it stopped but it really ruined a night's sleep.
Good location close to Rajprarop BTS station, room reasonable size and although the whole place is a little old and tired its not terrible value for the price. When I arrived at 7am, as the room was ready they let me in which was good of them

The room smells of an old room and since its an apartment we can see cockroach on a daily basis.
The place is just a few minutes walk from Ratchaprarop airport station. It is also just a few minutes walk from Pratunam Market, Centralworld, Big C, among others. Bottled water, shampoo and soap are replenished everyday. The room is spacious, have hot and cold shower.

The bathroom wasn't really clean... There was hair everywhere on the sink and the shower was also grim. The room itself was somewhat okay but definitely not proper clean. The bathroom is also inconvenient for two people to use at once so we struggled with that.
The location is really convenient for the train from the BKK airport. It's also a 15 min walk from one of the BTS lines. Getting to some of the attractions like the Grand Palace is difficult without Grab/tuktuks but still ok. The building felt really safe because there is always someone at the reception. We also did laundry, located at the entrance, which costs 30 baht for the wash and 90 for the dryer. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and we didn't hear much noise from the outside but the cleaning ladies shout really loudly in the halls very early in the morning so earplugs are recommended. We also received free bottled water daily and there was also free coffee and tea at the reception.

The smell. There's a distinct smell that I can't identify.
It's cheap, and the facilities are enough if you'll just stay there to sleep and have quick snacks.

They give you a soap bar and shampoo every day, too much. The bathroom is not convenient, everything is designed for very short people. The overall interior is kinda old and not in the best state.
Two cats live in the lobby. The room is clean and spacious but table is wobbly. The location is good.

The room was old and not very appealing.

There's no water heater for bath which is very basic for every hotel.
Strategic location. Near to train station, muslim halal food (Samat Muslim Food), Pratunam Market etc. Also easy to find 711 because there are plenty there.

Beds were on rolls so they kept rolling when moved or got up.
Adequate for a single night transfer between locations.
