Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomShower was very weak. Not much in the area to do or places to eat. (Jamaican bar down the beach is worth a visit).
Friendly staff. Quiet location. Good shuttle bus to the Fisherman's Market. Beautiful sunsets. Delicious breakfast. Helpful team to sort out trips, ferries etc

IsraelThe balcony wasn't so clean, and while mentioning it, no effort was made to clean it. The women ignored it and continued with their work. Simple requests for an additional towel meant that three people had to be called, and it felt like they weren't willing to put any effort into the task.
Nice beach access and two pools with an amazing garden. Renting a scooter was super easy and effortless. The location is off the road, so it's super quiet and feels like a private beach.

United Kingdompool areas are a little bit dated and pools could do with maybe more regular cleaning with lots of debris floating around. Despite that the sun loungers are nice and always lots of spots available!
Really comfortable rooms and beds, bathroom also lovely and air conditioning works well. Rooms and restaurant area are modern looking. Breakfast buffet was tasty and had a good selection, although some of the dishes didn’t get topped up very frequently Staff are smiley and helpful and drinks are a reasonable price too. Cheap shuttle service to the fisherman’s market is a good bonus - coming back is about 300 baht with the local taxi service but be warned that they will try to get more out of you- 300 already expensive for a 5 minute drive! Tell them a Grab taxi is 300b and they will give up the haggle

CanadaThe resort had large clean rooms. We really enjoyed the included breakfast. Beach front and pools with loungers. The hotel was in a quiet area but still a short ride to the fishermans village, airport and pralarn ferry pier.

TurkeyThey should add some kosher and halal food on the breakfast such as beef, fish and chicken .
Quite place, very friendly staff, rooms were clean. Hotel has shuttle service to Fishermen village . If you don’t like crowded noisy places i recommend this place. Eventhough sea is better in cheawong , Mae nam is better for peace and rest

United KingdomA little out of the way it’s quite a walk to the nearest pubs and restaurants normally ok however when it’s 32 degrees it’s a chore, the resort runs a mini bus to Chewang and fishermen’s village at 5 and 6pm with no return journey and quite honestly the Taxis in Koh Samui are a bit of a rip off the Baht buses operate like taxis and it adds up over a 2 week period,
Great size room with a lovely big bathroom housekeeping was spot on everything clean, The staff were lovely and helpful, the grounds were lovely and there’s lovely pool away from the beach with great access, breakfast is in a lovely spot and the service is good,

United KingdomLimited choice breakfast. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable as are the awful pillows. Water pressure is extremely low in the bathrooms. Steps down to the sea so very little beach as such. Location is quite remote. Pools need attention.

PolandThe room was very nice, the bed was huge and very comfortable. Shower could have been more powerful but we didn't mind. The beach is very narrow, but there is another beach on the side that you can use. The garden is amazing. You can also rent a motorcycle or bicycle at the hotel, which is very convenient. The breakfast was just fine. Location in a quiet area away from the main attractions but you can get there by cab or motorcycle in a string of 20-30 minutes.

United KingdomNothing, we didn't even mind the small beach as the room was so comfortable.
The room was amazing, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The hot water was OK but shower could have been more powerful. The beach is very small, narrow so if you are going expecting a big beach you will be disappointed. The sea was amazing but tide never went out far enough for us to sit on beach outside the hotel. However there is a small beach to the side that you could sit on.

SwitzerlandWe came during low water season so there are some kind of beach in front of the hotel. I assumed the swimming pools were recently renovated so we enjoyed them very much, especially there are no playground around for children. Restaurant was good, beach front so very cool for the night. The resort is kind of isolated by empty land so very quite.
