perfectly located if you need to cross the Thailand/Loas border. absolutely wonderful couple owners who couldn’t be more helpful. they will pick you up from the bus station/border and drop you off as needed. we took the slow boat from Laos, got a Tuk Tuk to the border and they picked us up the other side. they have a super restaurant there so we could have a yummy evening meal. breakfast was included and then we were dropped off at the bus station, with a stop to get a SIM card on the way! a great welcome to Thailand!

Everything! The hosts are so welcoming, they picked us up at the station, borrowed bicycles so we can go to the centre and dropped us off to the border the next morning. The bungalow is super cute and have everything you need. It’s clean and extra blankets are provided :) It’s further away from the centre which we loved and we really hope to come back here and stay longer to enjoy the nature. All the best

Nothing to do in the area but crossing the border, everything else is amazing!

Amazing place to stay. Most comfortable bed we had in weeks and exactly what we needed after two days on the slow boat. We were picked up from the boarder and driven to the bus station the next day for free, really amazing! The food is also great, they offered several snacks as well for us to try. We 100% recommend staying there if you're coming from Laos and need a place to stay for a night before continuing to Chiang Rai or Chiang Mai. If there was anything to do around we would've stayed longer!

Lovely bungalow in a very quiet place and just 5 minutes away from the border crossing. The owners were really nice and helpful! They collected me when I arrived and the took me also to the border control. I really had a good time there with them and other guests so I highly recommend it! I wish I could have stay longer.

Jan 2023, elderly couple, 1 night. It is very close to the friendship bridge/Lao border on the Thai side and the nice host picks you up there and brings you to the bus. We used the day there to plan our upcoming 5 weeks in Thailand and enjoyed the relaxed and quiet place, the attached restaurant and the heartwarming friendly hostfamily. The little bungalows are quite new and clean. You can take bikes for the nearer places, no motorbike to rent. Town estimated 10km away. So you sit within fields and kautschuk trees in the nowhere. Was very nice. And recommended for time off etc.

Staff was really nice and welcoming, especially when they agreed to cook dinner for me even though the restaurant was already closed. The room was basic but it was clean and had everything one might need for one night.

Everything. For the price value, you definitely get so much. The bed was comfortable, the hot shower was awesome, the WiFi worked well, the staff was so nice and friendly. Despite the location being a bit far from the city, pick up point by the bus from Chiang Khong and drop off to Immigration was extremely helpful and easy. Would stay here again

My partner and I loved it here! Perfect stopover before heading to Luang Prabang on the two-day slowboat. Wished we could have stayed longer just for a 'chilled' day in the rural area - doing nothing! The breakfast was very simple but you cannot expect more for the price paid - it is a bonus. The restaurant food we had in the evening was also very nice, and reasonably priced. It is like having a tiny private bungalow to yourself. The host also picked us up from Lotus (from our bus journey) and dropped us off at immigration the morning after for free.

One night stay as we were getting slow boat next morning. We travelled by public bus from chiang rai to chiang khong The owner collected us from the bus stop in Chiang Khong. When we arrived we needed to buy a few things in the tesco lotus store which he had no problem waiting an extra 10 minutes even though we arrived later than expected. The Hut itself was perfect. Solid concrete with air con and fans with mosquito guards on door and windows. Clean, comfortable and private bathroom which was very nice. The property has a restaurant which made the nicest thai food we have probably had since our arrival 2 weeks ago. Dinner cost was 200baht for couple. Totally worth it. They also have beer and sodas in the fridge. Next morning we woke up at 7.30am and had a lovely breakfast which was included in the price. The owner then let us get ready and dropped us to the border. This is Ideal if you want a nice relaxing stay before the stress of crossing over the border and getting to the slow boat

Amazing and helpful owners. Amazing value for money. Very convinient location for crossing the border to Laos. Owner gave me a ride from border and to busstop next day. Walking to the boarder ok distance vise, but would be a little akward, since the road is not designed for that. Cute little huts for room were clean and confortable. I wish I had stayed more than one night. The town seems nice enough to spend a full day exploring.

The room is great but the best is the owners by far. They take so much care from you and always make sure you are happy. They picked us up and dropped us off at the border so it's super handy plus we had amazing food and so much fun. Would definitely recommend and go back if I ever had the chance.
