Not a huge amount of space in the room possibly because of the layout.

Em the hotel owner is a fantastic host, always going above and beyond to ensure that we are having a good stay, helping us with suggestions and curated lists of things to do in the neighborhood and beyond. The breakfast they prepare is incredibly tasty and also different, traditional Thai food. And the coffee is super good also. The lobby is very relaxing. The area around is also nice and quiet but with good street food places and a few temples and things to see around. Great value for money!

This was our second stay. The hotel is a charming, calm oasis, very close to the palace and a ten minute walk to the pier and ferries. There is great eating to be had in the neighborhood. The rooms are situated off a courtyard, and are clean and comfortable. Best of all, the owner, Em, is a lovely fellow who did a lot to make us feel at home, and oriented and helped us on both our visits.

The space of bathroom is small

Fabulous location, nearby the Palace and other icons. We like the breakfast served which were local Thai food. The coffee that the host provided was also impressive! Highly recommended!

It's an old building, so they had to adapt to that (no change allowed; simple old wood floor and doors/windows). Not a problem for us though.

The staff were very super friendly, helpful, easy going! He gave us very good sightseen suggestions and provided all information about traveling in the city. The location was great, room got cleaned every day and breakfast was authentic, tasty and different every day. No smell in the bathroom, pressure and temperature of water was good.

Nothing we could think of.

Don't know where to start. You shouldn't expect a newly built business hotel if you go to Neighbor Phuton. But you can expect the most authentic experience about what a guest house or a boutique hotel could be. It's the personal contact to the team of a family run establishment with a most authentic wonderfully cooked and prepared breakfast. It's the location in the middle of Rattanakosin - only about 700 meters away from the Grand Palace. It's the recommendations of the owner that you can't find in every travel guide. The neighborhood is quiet and the guesthouse itself a lovingly restored old building from around 1900. The rooms are very well compartmentalized with nice old wooden furniture and flooras well as a very comfortable bed. Neighbor Phuton offers super good value for money. Really a feel-good place with a relaxed and welcoming athmosphere.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Gave us their insta which has a lot of recommendation in the area by using a google maps with pins that came in handy. Also chatted with us every morning and asked what are plans were and gave us helpful tips. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel! It was small 3 courses and different everyday. One of us had some special dietary restrictions so all the food was plant based. Highly recommend this hotel and this area! 10/10

This was our first trip to Bangkok, and we really enjoyed the location. Close enough to Khao San Road to walk thru, but far enough away that we weren’t bothered by the activity. Beds were firm, but fine. No hot water in our shower.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We had an early flight on the second morning and missed breakfast, but we are so sad we did. Worth going back just for the breakfast.
