Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MyanmarI felt like it was a bit expensive for the facilities we got. It would have been better if we received complimentary coffee or amenities everyday. The hall is a bit hot and it would be nice for it to be cooler.
Although the hotel is located in a cozy environment, it's still lovely. Many restaurants could be found around it. The best thing is that there is a wet market just behind the hotel which sells many delicious food.

Thailand.
Walked from donmeung airport to hotel ca 15 -20 min. You can walk across the main road infront of Donmueang Airport to Amari hotel direction then take taxi or ride motorcycle to hotel. Hotel is not direct to the main street, which is not noisy in the night time. But for sound between hotel s room you can hear it. Size of the room is good. Toothbrush and paste, hair dryer, refrigerator, cloth hanger, 24 h front desk are available. No elevator.. Close to groceries store. If you have a small backpack with you, you can ride motorcycle nearby the hotel to donmueng airport for 20 baht, take just some min, very easy. This place is good for stay a night waiting for the next flight.

South AfricaThe cleanliness could have been better and it isn't very soundproof.
It was very close to the airport which was nice since we only needed a place before our flight the next day. The staff was friendly and waited for us who arrived just before midnight. The room was good for the price that we paid.

CambodiaThere was an issue with our AC that would shake the whole room and then randomly shut off in the night. We also had mould and water damage in the bathroom. My father inlaws room didn't have these issues however, so I just think we got a bad room. We had already unpacked when we realised about the AC, or we would have requested to move rooms as it caused us to lose a lot of sleep.
Very close to the airport, quicker to walk over the overpass than take a taxi as there isn't a direct road and requires lots of u-turns. Place was clean for the price! Close to local market and 7/11. They had shampoo and toothbrushes which I didn't expect.

PhilippinesNo option for breakfast. Since there's no lift, there should be someone, perhaps a guard, who can help you with carrying your luggage to your room. There's electric kettle but the glasses weren't wash properly. We had to wash it again in the bathroom sink. They only give small bottles of water every morning according to the number of guests in the room, so we have to buy big ones for ourselves.
Near from the airport. Walking distance actually, about 20-30 minutes, if you're not in a hurry and only carrying light luggage. However, it's better to book a hotel within the city centre as transportation going to and fro can be expensive and tricky, even when using grab. Nearest skytrain station to the city (BTS Don Mueang Station) is about 20 minutes walk. There's a nearby 7/11 and food stalls where you can buy your meals and necessities. Good internet. Spacious room. Quiet at night.

United StatesThere was no hot water at all. The staff basically just shrugged it off. They also want you to pay in cash, as they will charge you 3% service fee if you use your credit card. If you use their taxi service to the airport, it will cost you 200 baht. If you use Bolt, it will only cost 80.
I used this hotel for just one night because I had an early flight the next morning out of DMK. The hotel is clean and the room is spacious. It is a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. There are plenty of food options near the hotel.
