Just a note that you have to pay deposit - I turned up and was asked to pay 10thousand baht (around £200) which I didn’t know. It was to be taken from credit card or cash and then refunded when I left. Hadn’t heard of this before as usually only the car details are held. We negotiated it down because this was my spending money for the last two days. I was embarrassed and felt bit rubbish about it but the staff were great and made it better after. Only other little thing is the furniture is bit dated - the pine wood does not make it look 5 star - the hotel itself and the service and views are but the rooms could do with updating if I’m being really picky. And the taps in the sink are so close to the back the water sprays everywhere soaking the back - another small but noticeable thing. But honestly please stay it’s fabulous!

You can’t fault the staff here - they go over and beyond any hour of the day. Beds are huge and I like that the mirror slides to become a door so you don’t feel it’s as open as the suites are huge! Also the view is outstanding - was the most amazing experience being at the Sky Bar drinking a Hangovertini looking at the view in the night sky. Will go back to stay longer as had to cut it short to one night. They also decorated my bedroom for my birthday and made me a dessert so thank you.

I felt the swimming pool area was a bit cold to really enjoy The drinks where very over priced for Bangkok. We had 2 cocktails each and it cost 120 pounds.

The views where impeccable The staff where really friendly and helpful during our entire stay There was lots of extra honeymoon touches provided such as a lovely cake and rose Coffee and morning crossiants where amazing

Some of the prices at the pool bar where more expensive than drinks in London/Dubai 470 for small bottle of Heineken then service charged paid 560bhat for one small beer, put little disappointment on the trip

The removal of the TV from the lounge area was the main reason for the lower marks. We do not like having to sit on the edge of the bed to watch TV. There were no plates or cutlery in the kitchen. Why have hot plates and microwave if you have no plates to use. This was our third stay at the Lebua and we were disappointed the rooms were not up to our previous expectations.

For a 5 star it is quite old, you can see it from the hallways and structure of rooms. It would be great if they refurbished it as it really has the potential of a pioneer hotel

Too busy and hot @ the breakfast area. The layout of the food stations are all spread out which is not convenient. Breakfast seating/setting definitely has room for improvement.

Loved the check inn and concierge process and hospitality. Felt very welcomed.

Wifi in the room (#2118) often drops internet connection and/or signal not strong enough. Difficult to have a casual drink. A bit too many places with dresscode.

Whilst the bars and restaurants (in particular the Sky Bar) are amazing to see - the prices are very expensive for drinks. 2 classic cocktails were 61GBP (I know 5* hotels always have a premium price but even this took us by surprise for Bangkok)

We went for the river view suite - the balcony and view was incredible! The room was huge and the staff could not have been more helpful or polite. This trip was to celebrate my 30th birthday and upon entering the room, a red velvet dessert was waiting for us - a lovely touch!

The only thing I didn't like which is Major is that they Place me on a smoking floor in a smoking room. Could have swore that all hotels were non-smoking. Been in Thailand at least a dozen times and never had a smoking floor smoking room issue. The fact that this hotel never asked me and just placed me there was a major concern. I did not mention it in the beginning so it's mostly my fault that I mention it at the end. The staff has wonderful the management is acceptable the food is great the rooms and atmosphere are exceptional. Regards

Around hotel is terible , we went out for buy some snacks and we were scared. Many cockroaches, homeless people on the floor, really bad feeling.

I booked a double bed room, however they had only twin rooms available. Staff managed to relocate us. The entrance to the hotel is not good, it looks like an abandoned building.

It’s a lovely hotel with very friendly polite helpful staff.
