The food they prepared was great, the facility was great and the staff were excellent. Would stay here again. They even had a couple cute cats that lived in the area.

There is nothing I didn’t like!

The setting is was unbelievable. Truly in a rainforest hut. So beautiful, it just felt so special to be there. We heard an elephant a few times too!

The staff literally treated us like family from the moment we checked in to when we checked out. We had a really early check out and they made that super simple for us. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had in all of Thailand and the location was amazing. It was like a little camping trip in a jungle. It was such a cool experience

It was all good. The lake tour guides weren’t great though. They just ferries us from van to boat to van without explaining anything about our surroundings. We stopped for a local market visit and we just taken out of the van in front of a 7/11 and told we had 10 minutes to get snacks. Again no explanation about best local food like you might expect. THE COOKING COURSE however was wonderful!!! Can highly recommend it! A real cultural experience and the guy leading it is great! So glad we did it!

Lovely jungle getaway. Felt more authentic then staying at a hotel. The surroundings are lush!

Nothing, we loved it.

We loved our stay at Riverside Cottages. The resort is in a beautiful location and well kept. We had a riverside room and we all enjoyed playing in the river and spotting animals from the balcony. Lovely restaurant overlooking the river and with games to play. We booked several trips, the half day hike was our favourite, spotted so many animals.

Beds were pretty uncomfortable! But it was worth a couple of nights bad sleep! Use of plastic straws, aside that everything else was eco and fantastic!

The shuttle timings are slightly inconvenient, but we were able to join a departing tour to get to the "town centre" as a workaround.

Loved the architecture of the bungalow and the beautiful setting of the property with walkways through the jungle. We had no issues with cleanliness or mosquitoes at all. Delicious food in the restaurant with vegetarian/vegan options, focus on local produce. The tour organisation worked well, the Day/Night Safari was especially good. The staff was very helpful when we ran into a few issues with our trip planning.

For us, personally we just did not particularly find it a comfortable stay as found it difficult to sleep at night. This is no fault of the property it just wasn’t what we like. We found it difficult to achieve an optimal temperature in the room without A/C and sadly as light sleepers found it difficult to stay asleep due to the noisy surrounding nature albeit this was quite cool to listen to the jungle around us.

You are truly immersed in the jungle in this property. On top of this the staff are fantastic and accommodating and are very passionate about hospitality. The food in the restaurant was also tasty. For the price paid this is certainly worth it and definitely an enjoyable stay however we booked to stay probably one night too many. The staff are on hand to help book any excursions. We did the one full day river package but I would suggest booking the overnight stay to experience the full thing Khao Sok has to offer based on what others have told me.

The staff does not speak english well and we were really depended on them, for example we discussed the hotel transfer driver the pick up time and then she left us in the town so we should call them and wait almos 30 minutes for someone to pick us up and take back to the accomodation.

It was very calm and nice place, near the river. The room was comfortable and clean. Tha one day lake trip in the national park was amazing experience, we really enjoyed that.

Obviously there can't be AC in a place like that so just be aware, but the fans did a pretty darn good job of keeping us comfortable.

The staff were amazing! I felt welcomed and they were incredibly kind and did everything to make our stay wonderful. The food was fantastic and the environment was wonderful. I loved it! The massages there were exceptional too.
