The staff were very welcoming and helpful right from as soon as we arrived til the moment we left. The room was perfect, had a lovely jungle feel with the surroundings, and was very clean upon arrival. Our room was a private bungalow with a lovely patio area. Excellent location with a shop just opposite and plenty of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Would recommend visiting Cheow Lan Lake during the day. Would most definitely stay again. Staff assisted us to book our day trip to the lake as we had not organised in advance. Breakfast was also delicious.

If anything, the breakfast could have served faster some times. They had only 1 waffle maker or something, so when some more guests ordered that dish, you could easily wait 30 minutes.

Everything: clean houses, they clean everyday if you want, very friendly staff, good facilities, like the perfect pool and air condition. The curry was the best I have had during entire holiday. Do try it (either one is good)!

We were there with our son (became 1 there), and it was perfect. The staff was amazing, the pool was amazing to take a refreshing swim. Breakfast (very good coffee) was amazing and served very fast. A lot of restaurants on walking distance. We did 2 tours (lake and cooking class) and they arranged our taxi to Krabi, it was all perfect. We hope our son comes back when he is older, felt like family.

I had an amazing bungalow on top of the road, a bit of a climb but the best view on the jungle :) The staff was extremely friendly, I had a wonderful stay!

Room for 2 people is a bit too small. But for 1-2 nights is ok.

The bungallows are in a very nice place, surounded by tropical forest. You can order trips from the reception desk.

There was nothing about this property that I didn't like. Everything exceeded my expectations by far.

I loved everything about this property! The rooms were really private, and I loved how secluded in the jungle it was. Everything here was absolutely beautiful. It is a short walk down the road to the little town that has places to eat and shop. There is also a little shop right across the road from it, making it super convenient to pick up snacks or water. Every person on staff was exceptionally friendly. The owners were on sight the entire time we were there and were super helpful with setting up the elephant tour I wanted. The room came with a diffuser for the hair dryer, which I have never seen in any of my accommodations. As a girl with very curly hair, it was great! I cannot praise this property and staff enough!

Our stay at Las Orquideas was amazing. The people who work at Las Orquideas are so very kind and friendly :) The accomodation is perfect for a stay in the jungle- the bed was very comfortable. There is a lovely bathroom (nice hot shower), fridge and safe in the room and the jungle setting is fantastic. Everyone at Las Orquideas is happy to help you and they have a fantastic range of tours which they can arrange for you. They also provide a transfer service; the car and driver were both great. The resort itself is close to the national park and nearby food/drink/ATM/massage (all within walking distance). Thank you so much to everyone at Las Orquideas - you are an amazing team and made our stay memorable for all the right reasons

We stayed at a family bungalow which was beautiful and was cleaned daily. The resort is surrounded by beautiful green gardens with honey birds coming to the flowers. The swimming pool is in a shady location. The staff were very friendly, we met the lovely owners who helped to organize day trips and had great recommendations. We have done the lake, jungle cooking and the elephant sanctuary and really liked it. The restaurants and other shops are minutes away, but the resort is still in a quiet location. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend the place!

I would need to be knit picking. But the pillows in our room were a bit hard.

The staff were brilliant, location was great. It sounds like the jungle. There is a pool and a nice selection at breakfast. There are ATMs and a shop across the street and a nice selection of restaurants about 200m away. But the thing we loved the most were the trips through the hotel. I feel the owner really found the best guides and places to go. He talks a good game and he followed through. He gave advice on which ones to take and what would be suited to us. We did the lake day tour, deep jungle hike and elephant conservation and they were all superb. They were always welcoming, chatty and we didn’t want to leave after 3 nights in Khao Sok. Thank you for a great stay.

So, accommodation was incredible, we stay on the bungalow number five, you live directly into jungle, everywhere we can find plants of thailand :) Personal was pretty good, bungalows was very very clear and into we didn’t saw any insects, amazing!

We enjoyed our stay at Las Orquideas. We had a very warm welcome. The manager, owner and staff are all so friendly and passionate about the resort you really see they run the resort with their heart. - Room: the room was very nice, we had the top room (3) so we had a beautiful view over the jungle. There was every day fresh water. The room has good airconditioning, refrigerator, good quality hairdryer, clean bathroom, lot of space to hang your clothes, couch and a little terrace to sit and watch the beautiful jungle. - Wifi: this is why I posted 4 instead of 5 stars. The wifi was very bad and if you need internet to work it isn’t good, but hey what did you expect in the jungle right?! - Location: the resort is located very nicely and you have lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. The ATM is right across the street. The resort itself is beautiful located in the jungle. - Tours: we chose to do, not the typical overnight, but 1 day full exploring of the lake and 1 day trekking in the deep jungle. We did a private tour which was very well arranged by the hotel and for us is was worth the money and the experience! - Breakfast: depending on what you chose while booking, you can get breakfast at the resort for 150 baht. You can choose from different menu’s (pancakes, waffles, eggs,.. always get fresh fruits) and you can take some cornflakes, fresh juice and coffee. One day they even made special early breakfast for us cause we left very early to do our jungle trekking! Overall we would definitely recommend staying at Las Orquideas! It really feels like ‘home’ and everyone is so incredibly friendly! You can easily book your tours at the reception!
