How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

- occasional cats screeching in night - not owner's fault though 😉
- great location,very close to the old town and temples and best nightmarket for eating just across the road - lots of stalls to choose from with tables and seating - 7 eleven directly opposite - accommodation exactly as described and pictured on Booking.com - comfy beds, strong ac, very clean and with a good ensuite and shower - fridge, kettle etc, TV with netflix - owner and other staff are lovely, they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome - huge breakfast each morning in the on site dining area All in all, a great choice of place to stay!

I booked four days at Homey Huts and I really like my stay there. The rooms are containers but there are air conditioners so it's not hot at all in the room. It was very late when I arrived and the staff were waiting for me and didn't left until I understand everything of the hotel. The lady who runs the hotel is really nice, she has a warm smile every time you see her and she's always ready to help. The second morning of my stay, I had some jobs to do online and I missed the time for breakfast, she kept the food and cooked for me after my job. I really appreciate that. The location is perfect. Opposite the hotel is a 7-eleven and a food market, and it is close to the historical sites - less than 10 minutes walk from Wat Maha That and it's convenient to go to different places.

The location was great. It was easy to walk to the main temples. The owners were very warm and friendly. The yard was green and had lovely swings. The rooms were very clean and had a fresh feeling. The morning meal was a good way to start my day. Id stay there again

This was an amazing place to stay in Ayutthaya. The staff was amazing and helped you with everything. The breakfast was great and very flexible for our liking. The bed was verry comfortabel, and clean. Also the location is great, next to a market and 10 minutes from the historical park. I would recommend this place for sure, and go back whenever I can.

I liked that the room was very clean and it was quiet even though the accommodation is next to the street. The owner took us to the train station for our next destination!! Such nice people!!!

Super clean Hotel, a cozy garden for breakfast. Location is extremely convenient. Very friendly and helpful Stuff. First, We came from Chiang Mai with the night train and arrived at 4:53 am. I just simply asked for them to organize a taxi to pick-up us, but they came in person to catch us! At 4:53 in the morning, since we are 5 Persons and 4 Luggage, they even came with 2 cars together!!! That kind of service is even more outstanding than a 5 Stars Hotel!!! Second, after we checked out, I got a message from the hotel that the computer cable forgotten, i gave them our Bangkok Address and ask to pay via paypal. But again, they just send us free of charge. Their service is really awesome!!

Brand new room, very clean and close to the main attractions. There is a 7Eleven store right across the street, which is very convenient.

- clean & comfy place - a container turned to hotel concept - there’s a garden in the middle where you can come out to sit and chill - private shower room (separate between wet and dry zone) - toiletries provided (soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, hair cap, body and hair towels) - well-equipped with smart TV, high speed wifi, aircon, refrigerator, hair dryer, hangers, and sofa - located just across the 7-11 and local supper place eg. chicken rice, local noodles, Thai a la carte restaurant etc. - 5 mins walk to popular local restaurants eg. U Thong, Baan Mai Rim Nam - 2 blocks away from the walking street (street food concept) - kind and accommodative owner/staff - relatively quiet and safe area - motorcycle taxi right outside if you needed

Ants are everywhere! Was quit damp the last night - ventilation issue? A lot of noise at night (not the owners fault, but worth knowing).
Good location and decent accommodations for a couple of nights. Think static caravan/camping. 7/11 across the road was convenient. People were pleasant and breakfast was decent.

I stayed in one of the „container rooms“. Tv screen can not be watched from the bed. The neon lighting is not particularly „cozy“. But thise are minor points.
Superb location (historic park at walking distance, a 7-eleven and an evening food market just across the street. Very friendly, good value for money. Good bed. Smart TV = with netflix, youtube etc.
