Tharita is the best person I’ve met in Thailand, she is the best host and makes everyone feel at home. The location couldn’t be better, only 5 minutes away from Chaweng beach. The dorms have curtains and toilets were clean.

Recently stayed at this hostel and had an amazing experience, everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. The owner(DK mama as we called her), she was so caring,helpful and super funny at the same time, literally made me feel like I was home while staying there. And the location was fantastic as well, a few minutes walk to Chawang beach and with 7-11 and many street vendors nearby, easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Thailand! If you ever decide to visit Koh Samui, highly recommend staying at this hotel! DK1’s the best!

The best hostel I stayed at during my whole trip in Thailand. Terresa "Moma/Aunty" was the best owner/host you can have so much fun and helpful amazingly happy and great energy and made me feel at home and interacts with you as a friend not just business. I stayed for nearly a week in the end and didn't want to leave. Good friendly people staying there at the time also, great for socialising not full of the arrogant clicky d-heads that were at most hostels I stayed. Great vibe and energy here and that really is down to the amazing owner Terresa ! I felt like a big family, one of the funniest and coolest people ever, helped me fix my bag, getting bikes alsorts of help. Also Teressa, I still have your lighter :D

That I had to leave, I wish I could have stayed even longer

Absolutely everything, I stayed so much longer than planned, as did everyone else in our dorm. It’s a 15 minute walk to the bars, not much further to the beach - shops and food places all close by but not too much noise that sleep is disrupted. The hostess with the mostest; she is amazing. Everyday she sends messages to check we are all safe before bed, comes in the mornings to check how we all slept. Did all our washing, helped the boys with some cooking, arranged scooters…she honestly cannot do more for you. It was like being home away from home and it was very hard to leave. Of all the hostels I’ve stayed in around the world, this is by a mile the one that will forever be remembered in the best way.

Recently stayed at this hostel and honestly it was my best stay in Thailand. Staff is amazing and always willing to help. The place is always clean and very good environment overall at the hostel. I felt really happy here. The facilities also offer free drinking water which is very nice. The location is perfect, close to the center and if u need something you can talk to the staff and they will arrange it.

I had a wonderful stay in this hostel well located between Chaweng beach and the main walking street of the entire island. But mostly what makes the difference here is the genuinely and the love of the owner, an amazing woman who puts effort and care for the guests that will let you feel like home. I will keep beautiful memories about her and her welcoming hostel. Thank you!

The hostel is very simple and has the basics for rest. The highlight is the owner, who is a sweet person, super helpful and sweet! Fair value for what is offered, I will definitely come back when I'm in Koh Samui

Excellent hostel! I had booked 2 nights and I stayed 4 nights, Tharita the owner makes you feel at home, she cares about all guests, it is a very familiar hostel, good location, near the beach and with many restaurants nearby. Thank you very much for everything Tharita, I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel!

The AC has had problems :( probably fixed by now

The owner is absolutely fantastic. There are a few weak points here and there, but the hostel has only been open for a month, so I'm sure it will get even better in the future. Many thanks Jan Ole
