How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A little hard to find at first but just look for the sign and ask a local.
Service and breakfast was fantastic. Host was very helpful for booking bus tickets and getting around Bangkok.

I think the acs in the room need to be serviced/changed. They take easily 25-30 mins to cool down the room…
Great location and helpful staff! I wanted to send a postcard to a friend in Germany, they were prompt at helping me out. As vegetarians we were getting stuck with limited options for a good filling meal. The staff gave us some great local recommendations. Overall a lovely experience. Will definitely recommend to others!

Our room was facing the main road. So it was a bit noisy. And the AC wasn’t working as efficiently.
Great location. Home like and cozy feel to it. People at the hotel were extremely helpful.

The internet was a bit unstable and slow.
Great location, the neighbour is nice and central, waking distance for historical places of Bangkok. Very clean and helpful staff. Good breakfast with western and Thai dishes

The air conditioner was really weak, we couldn’t fall asleep cause the whole room was just too hot
I love the fact that they have a small cozy swimming pool, and the staff was really friendly and helpful, thx!

Since the hotel is located in the middle of the touristic epicenter, it is quite noisy in the nights. You will definitely hear the traffic. But if you’re ok with with some moderat background noises, you’re going to be fine!
The location is perfect if you’re only for a few days in Bangkok. It’s close to a lot of tourist attractions and the hotel provides you with all the information you need. The breakfast was quite convenient as well. Over all this hotel is a gem when it come to value for money!

Everything was perfect. Value for money.
Location, cleanliness everything was perfect. It’s a 7-8 mins walk from khao san road which is perfect as it keeps you away from the noise but close enough. It is also close to all important places of visit like grand palace, china town and all the temples. The cleaners came to clean everyday and towels were cleaned everyday. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was simple, but comfortable for a brief stay. The breakfast was sensational, and after we checked out we were allowed to leave our luggage there until we had to go to the airport. It's in an excellent location. Only a few doors down was the most wonderful vegetarian restaurant that charged 70 baht for a full plate!!! Dinsor Road is lively and safe.

Hotel is a little hard to find, it's down an alley. Look for name painted on the wall. Rooms are basic. Not fancy, but comfortable. Good as a place to sleep after a day of sightseeing, but not lounge all day.
Small hotel, feels more like a boutique hotel or guesthouse. Location is excellent, walking distance to most central Bangkok attractions. Breakfast is excellent with many Asian and Western options.

Breakfast was not great, food was cold.
Location, location, location. Near all the sites either by walking, or quick taxi ride. Room was really quiet despite the din of street noise outside. Room was clean.
