There are some sandfly on the beach but repellent will help. The beach is more for fisherman mooring and water receding quite far in low tide which makes it hard to swim.

Nice setting in a quiet corner of the island. Property is very green. Food and drinks are at reasonable price. The room we book doesnot have the air conditioning but that’s how we want it. They provide refillable water bottle to avoid plastic waste. So it is very eco friendly. Super friendly staffs. Breakfast is very nice.

The shower part of the cabin had a little hole in the floor, so you had to watch your step while taking a shower. We only found the main light switches the day we checked out (located on the base of the bed), which was a little strange but manageble.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. We were located right on the beach so the views were gorgeous. A nice and quiet place to relax and just take in the scenery.

Had an absolutely amazing staying at this beautiful resort! Located in a green, lush and peaceful area. I stayed in a two floor bungalow with a large balcony facing the morning sun. The hammock on ground floor was a dream during the hottest hours. The island changes during high & low tide that will give you room to explore the surroundings in different settings. The beach is easy to access and is located 15 min from the resort. The staff were absolutely amazing! Kind, welcoming, warm, helpful and friendly. The restaurant offer delicious food and offer to refill your water bottles. I will definitely revisit.

Design is amazing and staff is sooooo nice !! Really peaceful. Breakfast is one of the best in Thailand! The woman which is the owner is so nice, calm and pay attention to your need. I was sick and she prepares for me some hot tea with honey and lime.. so kind!

Lovely vibe. Rustic and not overdone but fabulous. It was our favourite place in Thailand. Knocked out all the other bougie air conditioned places we stayed in. This was the best!... And the food was outstanding. Best breakfast in Thailand! Best breakfast anywhere! Thank you so much. We loved it!

The tropical Koh Mook is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We met up with my daughter from new Zealand and my other children from the UK. It is not at all corporate, with idyllic beach front bungalows. The food was some of the best we had in Thailand, particularly the massoman curry. The breakfast was astonishingly good with all manner of delicious treats. Just incredible. Thank you so much. The hosts were just lovely. We couldn't have asked for more. No air con. Just fans and great vibes. We loved it. Can't wait to go back!

Really beautiful and clean bungalow on the beach. The breakfast in the morning was incredible and the restaurant is on the beach and is such a nice setting. The food for lunch and dinner was also delicious - especially the sour yellow fish soup! The beach by the hotel isn’t great for swimming but you can rent a scooter for the day for about £6 and then get to and from the beach quickly and of course a scooter is always fun :). Koh Muk is a beautiful island, all of the restaurants we ate at were incredible and not expensive compared to other islands, and the snorkelling is good too (we saw a huge turtle!). Overall, this was our favourite hotel of our entire 5 week trip!

Nothing really, even the dogs on the beach are very well behaved and don’t come to bother or threaten you and sleeping by the water is magical.

Magical place decorated with so much flair and taste. Family owned hotel by wonderful people making it a very special experience. I loved every minute spent at the tropical and we came back for the restaurant as well as it’s the best cooking of the island. Little touches like free water refill shows how they got everything right in hospitality. I can’t recommend enough how warm welcoming and beautiful this place is. A gem and highlight in my trip!

Everything was perfect.

The staff was really friendly and you receive a warm welcome. It's also possible to book different trips (fishing, snorkeling,..) at the reception and your guide will be a local guy who shows you the best places. The facilities in the apartment are on a basic level but it's definitely worth the money. The breakfast next to the sea is awesome.

Very nice rooms in the forest. Close to the village. Very good food especially breakfast. No air-con but the two fans were enough. I was scared to find insects in the room but there were only a few ants :)

Island was overrun with stray dogs. With gangs of them roaming the island. Sorry to say but the islanders don't see the rubbish and mess with bags and plastic bottles all over.

Staff were very courteous and kept the place very clean. Breakfast was outstanding. Quirky having a shower almost in the jungle
