How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. The guest house was immaculately clean and tidy. It did feel warm as home. The personnel were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was provided, which was a big plus. The location of the hostel is on quiet road, at only 15-minute walk from Wat Mahathat. I would def come back and I strongly recommend it.

Very friendly hosts with a beautiful place. Room was very comfortable and the free breakfast was appreciated. They don't speak much English but will happily use Google voice translate and their English speaking daughter is also often available. Plenty of food around the area.

The whole hostel was clean and the beds very comfortable.The communal lounge and kitchen created a cozy, home-like atmosphere. A simple breakfast was offered in the mornings (toast, bananas, tea/coffee), which included everything you needed. Location also not bad, as the historical sites are only a 15-minute walk away. Would definitely recommend!

It was very nice here, we did like everything. the room was cIean, they were very friendly, breakfast was simple but enough. You can walk to the temples nearby. We would definitely recommend.

I recommend staying at this nice place. It is a family hostal, nice, clean, you can rent bikes or walk to the tempels around.

The interior decoration and furnishings of the house are quite traditional and beautiful. The outdoor courtyard is quite comfortable, like being in a resort.

Dormitories are a bit small..and unfortunately nothing can be done about snoring people 😟
Very nice hostel runned by very lovely family. Besutiful interior andots of space to chill or do some work on computer. Good location and possible bike rental on spot. Really recommended whose on budget or want home far from home ⭐️✌️👌 Overall great value and breakfast were realy nice! ❤️🫶🚲

Towel just for extra money, its not that expensive, but interesting.
Nice area. They have easy breakfast and tea/coffee till 11 am.

Fairly loud outside the room, limited breakfast options (toast with jam and coffee, cookies and cereal but no milk, one day bananas)
Friendly owner, first day I got banana for breakfast, coffee for breakfast, possible to leave my bag there after checkout for the day and I could take a shower after checkout for a small fee Bedroom had air conditioning that worked well

Cheap bike means poor bike... Mine was half broken...
The overall stay was nice, small hostel run by a family and it's quite cosy there. They provide for massage at fair price if you feel to but they also rent cheap bike, you can use the kitchen and cook. There is 2 open terrace so you can chill there or socialize, there is also laundry machine available. And... 2 bathrooms in the ground floor and 2 at the first floor! So everyone can go for nocturn toilet or morning shower without fighting! The place is a little bit more far from main attractions than other hostels but still, it's decent walkable distance and there is a bar close by open until late if you are in the mood and if you don't it's a quiet area out of the main road.

Everything was perfect ! Really clean and confortable room. Really clean bathroom as well. Nice common areas, bug kitchen and leaving room. Possible to rent a bike for the day for 50B and I booked a boat trip at the reception for 200B and it really worth it ! The host is a lovely lady who cares a lot about the guests. I had a really good timeand banchan hostel !

Nothing, all good
We had the deluxe private double room, really spacious room with a view on the “garden” super quiet. There weren’t many guests the night we stayed I believe. Anyways, the property feels like being home. Although they do not include breakfast in the booking, you can actually have free coffees and toasts there
