The location is great! It's walking distance from the night markets and cute cafes. Most importantly, the host is the loveliest woman. She is caring, generous and supportive and makes you feel so special. She brought me fresh fruit everyday and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and happy. I will miss her!

It was a bit hot at times

The property had a great location, good sized room, air conditioning and a fan. The balcony was a nice serene place to chill out on. The real highlight was the house worker, she was amazing. Made us feel very welcomed and would always give us free fruit. It was so nice we stayed here twice on our trip!

The door isn’t locking! This it’s been hard to suck it up, for us, because we have all our life into the room and we got scared that someone was getting in. Fortunately nobody got in but you never know!

She’s been very welcoming and nice. Explained all that we was needing even though she’s wasn’t able to talk English (you’ll need to use the translator to talk with her). The place is literally 5 mins to the old city.

Arku’s House was wonderful. Close to be everything going on in town. Arku and her staff are so nice and accommodating. I got the twin room river view and even though it didn’t have AC it was still very cool. The fan was great. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

It’s quite loud when you have a room facing the street and in general the walls are very thin. you get free earplugs though.

Very easy self check in. Staff is always approachable and very friendly. Rooms were spacious, well equipped and clean. Bed was comfy and my room had fan & ac. It’s a 15 minutes walk to the night bazaar. Free water & bananas

This accommodation was perfect. We stayed here for 4 nights. The owner and staff are very nice. Although they dont speak english, they put in a huge effort and use google Translate to answer any questions. The owner was especially kind, she supplied us with plenty of water and even snacks during our stay. The room was very comfortable and a good size. We had both AC and a fan in the room along with a fridge. The shared bathrooms were clean. The shower had hot water and shampoo, body wash and conditioner were all provided. There was a western toilet in one of the bathrooms too. The location was great. It was walking distance from everything in the old town. There was also a night market very close by. We got laundry done for a good price and our clothes were returned within one day which was great. We would definitely stay here again when back in chiang mai.

The Highlight is definetly, the host, she is such a lovely lady and treats you like you are family. She helped us out with everything, even dropped us of near a restaurant the first night. She was so helpful and made the stay there really special. Also the cleaning staff does an amazing job, everything is spotless. Thank you for the amazing stay!

The house is a bit noisy sometimes due to the small road nearby, but earplugs are provided. There is only one bathroom upstairs, so you might need to wait a little for your turn or you can also check the bathroom downstairs. But these are just little things, we didn't have any problem.

The location of this place is really good, we could walk to anywhere from here and we loved this neighborhood. The house also has a shared balcony and it is really nice. The host is really sweet and welcoming and always ready to help. She also recommended us some places. There is also a kitchen area, where you can drink coffee or just use hot water if needed. All in all very good value for the price.

It was very nice to stay at Arku! The wooden house is cool and is on the little canal, so it keeps cool. It's very close to a lot of cool bars and restaurants and 7/11 Mae dee was very friendly and helpful! 🙏❤️✨

Perfect place to stay in Chiang Mai! The location is great, accessible, close to everything but in a quiet street. Super convenient check in with a code. The owner is very sweet, helpful, really good communication by messages as well. Nice little balcony to chill above the river at the back, good wifi. To make it shirt, just everything we needed to visit Chiang Mai!

Converted from a decades-old wooden home with an interesting history (you need to ask the super-friendly and super-helpful mother of the owners to tell you more), this nice little place is truly another of Chiang Mai's hidden gems!

This is such a little gem just 3 minutes walking from the old town with some bars and restaurants around the corner. It's a wooden house with a lot of character. I love sitting on the balcony looking at the trees, birds and water. It's also very clean, I mean spotless. The little details in the room like a little lantern or the nice lamp, the kimono or the well designed fan make it a bit like home. There is a water filter tap and also 2 tapping points for hot and cold water. Plenty of bowls and cutlery to use and cookies and tea, coffee and cacao! The microwave can be handy for your left over Thai food;) The bathroom has soap and toilet paper. The lady hosting us is such a beautiful soul, so kind, fun and loving that you only want.to stay longer. So we stayed longer:) Personal note: Thank you very much for all the effort you put in the house and helping us and making us feel at home.
