- there was a little bad smell from the river - balcony on the ground floor was with a view on the wall - the area had a lot of traffic jams even on our little street

- it's a really hidden green gem among stone jungles surrounded by green trees and bushes with flowers. - interesting local design of the hotel - very quiet for this busy area

Everything was perfect. The room was charming, the staff was incredibly kind, and the food was terrific. The plants and trees around the beautiful pool, combined with the villa's old architecture, make the atmosphere unique, and it feels like a bit of heaven in the chaos of this fantastic city.

Absolutely lovely hotel located in the center of Sukhumvit. Once you enter the yard you feel like being in a green and quiet oasis right in the middle of hectic city of Bangkok. Very nice and authentically designed rooms, nice garden and pool area. The restaurant is very good with incredibly delicious traditional thai dishes. Very lovely staff all over the hotel! You can reach every must see spot in Bangkok most easily by taxi, grab etc. We will defintely come back, absolutely recommended!

Due to all the vegetations there were a few mosquitoes

We loved the staff so welcoming and kind. We had to leave early morning because of our flight and we had a packed breakfast ready for us and a taxi waiting. Lovely ! It's like a oasis in the middle of the city. Shame we didn't had more time to enjoy it.

Access to the pool side was slightly difficult

Beautiful old house with tasteful modern extension. Lovely staff and beautiful room with lovely smelling soaps etc. Restaurant food was delicious. Pool just what was needed.

The property is clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is terrific…lots of choices and delicious food, including fresh fruit, fresh squeezed tangerine juice and a full “cook to order” menu. The grounds are beautiful - flowers and beautiful landscaping…all in the middle of the city. The hotel has beautiful architecture and is very clean and quiet. The pool is a terrific option given Bangkok’s heat and humidity. The hotel is an easy walk to a nearby pier to take a water text to the city or another option is a BTS station just a 5’ - 10’ walk away. We looked at lots of properties for our stay in Bangkok, and we love the choice we made.

Amazing little slice of serence paradise in the middle of the cement jungle that is Bangkok. Lush foliage and beautiful plants, quiet atmosphere, beautifully appointed rooms, and delicious food. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Position a bit down a long untidy street, but supposed that the price for a secluded spot.

Great oasis in bustling Bangkok. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms and exceptional food reserved in the restaurant. Canal boats just a short walk away to whisk you to the centre.

The room was beautiful, but it was also a little stagnant given the small size and need to keep things closed up. The drapes appeared to have some mold due to the climate.

The location of the hotel was perfect... right in the middle of the night market, yet set back in a tranquil sanctuary of peace and beauty. The staff were also amazing, particularly the women who work in the restaurant.

Expensive by Bangkok standards, but what's on offer is worth it.

Beautiful individually styled rooms. Nice jungle garden atmosphere outside. Delicious breakfast with many variants. Superb vegetarian/seafood restaurant. Woderful open spa with good staff and reasonable prices. Accessable also via klong boat.

Was a bit tricky to manage the climate of the upper sleeping room under the roof.

This place is a hidden gem right next to Sukhumvit Road. With all the greenery and the euro/thai style around I felt like staying in a copy of Jim Thompson House.
