Was a little bit out of the main town but was also very easy to rent a scooter / get a taxi so it didn’t affect us at all.

The perfect place to relax in the silence of Pai. In a few minutes away from the village center (by scooter) you have everything you need here. Max and Kat are super friendly and they have some scooters to rent there, although there is more than enough options in town.

Nothing was a great stay!

The owners were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay, telling us the best local places to eat and best activities to do. The view from the room in incredible with mountains all around. Getting into town is super easy, especially if you rent bikes and it’s quite nice to be a little further out as it makes the place very peaceful and relaxing.

Very nice and friendly owners Max and Ket. Amazing view . A lot of space between the houses . Good swimming pool. Owners take care about that place . Free drink water , coffee and tea. They are also can provide a scooter 🛵 for rent. So quiet and Sounds of nature at the evening. Thanks a lot!!!

We loved it here, so much so we extended our stay! The rooms were clean and modern. The location is great, short walk from the town, is easiest to get around with a bike though! Would stay here again 😁

What a place, don’t think there is a better view in Pai and the pool was exactly what we needed after a heavy few days. The hosts were amazing, there was an english guy called Max who was really helpful and the rest of the staff were super friendly

We had a great time at 17 stories, everything was perfect. Matt and Kat looked after us super well and the hotel had a lovely vibe to it with the pool area and comfortable newly furnished rooms. Would definetely come again!

It is at the top of a slope and the beginning hill is nasty. Wouldn't recommend over 60s.

It was so amazing to have your own little house! Peter was fantastic help. The views are magnificent from the pool and in 35°c it was so refreshingly cold. Room amenities are good, no coffee machine but you don't need it. Great little 5-10 minute walk to the night market, quiet roads so it's safe to walk. Close enough to everything but far enough away to be peaceful.

The hotel hasn’t been open for long under the new owners, so there were a lot of minor inconveniences and facilities that weren’t available which if improved, could make this hotel incredible. - Our room wasn’t cleaned or bedsheets changed the whole time and we had to get new towels & toilet paper at reception ourselves. This is fine with us, but in other hotels, they usually have signs to advise that housekeeping needs to be requested otherwise the room won’t be cleaned. - We had a constant infestation of tiny moths in the bathroom the whole time we were there which sadly led to piles of dead moths every night that we had to clean up. There was a fly sheet attached to the outside of the window so we weren’t sure where they were coming from, but were unable to shut the window in the bathroom as it was the only one in the building which let fresh air in. Maybe the sliding doors need fly sheets fitted so that these can be opened for fresh air too. - The location is perfect for serenity but a very long walk from the town. The road that takes you up to the hotel from the main road is about a 10 minute steep incline which was fine, but only on the days we weren’t carrying luggage, shopping or water. A motorbike is definitely recommended! - It would have been preferred to have amenities such as a mini fridge, kettle etc in the room so that we could make our own breakfast and have coffee to utilise the balcony and admire the views each morning. - Hotel isn’t signposted when you get to the top of the hill. We ended up walking into the land owners house thinking that it was the reception, not realising that we had to keep walking further to get into the hotel grounds. The owner did advise they would be adding a new sign soon though.

We absolutely loved our stay at 17Stories in the Pink room (1) which stole our hearts as we could watch the sunrise and sunset from our room with panoramic unspoilt views across the mountains. This is what sold the hotel to us and we’re so glad we stayed here as the photos don’t do it justice. The owner greeted us and showed us to our room, he was super friendly and informative. The receptionist was always on hand to help, although sometimes there was a language barrier but was always solved with google translate. We didn’t use the pool but it wasn’t ever full or crowded and it was cleaned regularly. Free tea and coffee at reception was a nice touch and better than nothing at all. We loved that there is only ever 10 or so people on site at any one time as there are only 5 blocks, so it was pleasant to be in such quiet and unspoilt surroundings. The location is fantastic if you want to be away from the town and have your own space, but be warned of the long and steep walk. The pink room is super comfortable and cosy and the panoramic views are such a staple to this room. I would recommend anyone to stay in the Pink room as it’s the best out of them all!!

If I was to be picky it would be that there wasn’t a mirror in the bedroom or full body mirror. The location is fine if you have a scooter but it’s a little out the way for backpackers

The location is amazing, a little off the main road towards Pai and you are in a luscious green mountain area. The rooms themselves were very cosy, great amenities and a soft bed. The owner Max and his partner were super helpful to me on many occasions.

great place...close enough but out the way of the party people (you need a scooter). quiet with nice jungle vibes at night with modern feel. english owner handy for local tips + gf speaks good english as well
