Far away from town center. Very old elevator, needs maintenance. Ice in the parking lot and on some of the steps towards entrance. This shows lack of interest from personnel/hotel owner.

The old furniture in the room, and a strange smell when we got into the room. Nothing an open window/balcony door couldn't fix. But I did feel that we paid a bit too much for what was being offered.

Hotel Silva borders the mountain range, thus the view from our hotel room was superb. The food at the restaurant was also very good. And while they don't specify in the menu, some of the dishes can be shared so make sure to ask your waiter.

The vintage style in which the hotel is build. The 6th floor is already renewed ( big difference in bathrooms ) Love the restaurant because of the very big space and design. Fair priced for a worm place in that location. (The cable car station is next to the hotel , great mountain view, also the tallest building in the area )

I didnt like that the rooms/bathrooms are pretty old. Should be renovated and the stains removed from carpet/chairs. Bathroom renovation required as well.

I liked the location, the staff..breakfast can be a little bit improved. Overall I liked everything, but I find the prices a bit too expensive. Clean sheets/towels. Pretty clean room. I liked that it was warm in the room.

Lots of steps to climb at the entrance with the heavy luggages, every day the stuff was busy cleaning the ceiling, we had to zigzag around ladders, the bed wasn’t comfortable

Please take this as constructive feedback: The restaurant area You have the best view of the mountain and Caraiman Cross in Busteni - don't cordon off half of the tables that offer this view, this is what makes your hotel special and why people pay to be here. The staff could do with some training, personal discussions and work complaints shouldn't be heard by customers. While the breakfast is very plain, the dinner is actually delicious - if you can put up with waiting for 45-60min to get your food (it can be frustrating if all you want is to have a quick quiet dinner at the hotel before going to bed) There are no tables for solo travelers- the smallest table I could find was for 6-8 people. And while I could take that as indicative of the restaurant being able to manage large groups of people, having one full table of 10 made the waiter completely overwhelmed and caused severe delays with all the other tables in his zone

It's arguably the best hotel location on Prahova Valley with instant access to Busteni cable car and the main Bucegi hiking trails. The room was comfortable, spacious with simple furniture, I had a superior double room with amazing views (not sure of the standard rooms, I would only recommend the top floor superior ones). Everything was very clean and the bed is ideal for a good night rest after long days on the mountain. The room was cleaned daily, even if I was there only for two nights. The hotel keeps a certain charm from some decades ago, if you expect a modern, stylish hotel - this one is probably not it - but it's equally comfortable, clean and has other advantages for people who want to be as close to the mountains without being disconnected from the town facilities. The staff at the reception were very friendly and polite, helped me with booking a taxi and any other info I needed help with The room temperature was controlled via AC

- Limited breakfast hours (8-10 AM); - Pretty scarce breakfast (not many food options); - No garbage bin in the room (only a small one in the bathroom); - Noisy doors.

- Good location (quiet area, next to the cable car and not very far from downtown also); - Nice mountain view (including from the restaurant’s terrace); - Clean and warm rooms; - Mini bar, slippers, hairdryer in the room; - The kindness of the housemaids; - The hotel has its own restaurant (diverse menu, good food and service) which is a big plus; - The private parking of the hotel is rather small, but there is quite a large public parking next to the hotel at affordable prices (15 lei/approx. 3 euros per day); - Mini markets nearby.

Furniture is old and deprecated, the carpet was dirty and the towels weren't changed even if we stayed 3 nights.

Bed was comfortable and the room temperature was optimal. The staff was nice and helpful.

It was a little bit cold and there was no way to turn on the heat. That was unpleasant, regarding the fact that it was a 4 stars room.
