The person answering the phone for Room service should get more training on food/diets. They didn't know what to offer me as a vegetarian meal/snack and just gave me a plain salad as an option and said they had nothing else. I had to be the one giving suggestions until they understood that a cheese toast could be an option.

Everything was very nice. Very clean and comfortable hotel and room. Staff was very friendly. Check in and check out went smoothly. Location was great.

I didn't particularly like to leave my credit card details for the use of the iron and the ironing board. I do, however, appreciate it is a security measure for the damage of the mentioned above items and the room, and had to be done.

Very welcoming staff, very clean hotel and room, good restaurant and excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Yes, the room looked a bit tired, and the aircon was a bit noisy, but this didn't spoil our stay as everything was comfortable and functional. The electric blind in the room was a bonus and helped a lot to keep the scorching sun out. I can't thank the amazing staff of the hotel enough. You made our stay really special!

Very nice hotel, clean, quiet and comfortable although I think it may have seen better days. Corridors were a bit dark, but I think that was their idea of creating a certain mood. Comfortable bed, great shower, adequate space. Not luxe, despite the name, but I think it deserves a slightly higher rating on booking.com than what we read.

Tehe room cannot go full dark, lots of sunlight in the morning. The hair dryer didnt work, and its was sticky and unclean. Also when i went for dinner at 6 there was a food plate with an Hamburger in the floor, in front of my room. Returned at midnight and was still there, the smell was coming to my room, call the recepcion and the response was that was normal and in the morning was gonna be clean. Looked more like a bed and breakfast than a 5 stars.

Staffs in the restaurant were horrible, no hospitality, No cutlery, no water served, food came late, my baby was waiting for the food. Everything needs to be asked. Staffs were LAZY. when we informed this to the reception they took care of this which was great

Window handle broke (fixed super quickly) so first night window ajar with very noisy bin men collecting at 230am and traffic noise. My room overlooked the car park. Noisy neighbours on the 3rd night shouting and screaming till 1am ( I was travelling for work so had to be up at 7am). Couldn’t charge breakfast to my room which felt abit silly.

Lovely and clean, staff very welcoming and helpful. Really nice breakfast and reasonable prices at bar. Beautiful building and central location with lovely cafe over the road for breakfast and Italian for dinner.

On a whim, I booked a return flight from Rome to Gatwick that has a 17 hour stopover in Lisbon. This was ideally located for our purposes as we had a 710h flight to get the day after arrival - on a longer trip to Lisbon, not being "bang central" in the heart of the city might have been more of an issue. Easy check-in, quirky wooden keycards to get into the room and a clean room with a bath!!. So rare to have the option of a bath. Very good access to taxis - I should not really give credit to the hotel for this, but our driver spoke English, drove safely and made excellent suggestions on how to make the most of our evening.
