Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Located right in the center of Porto, in the São Bento train station, it offers easy access to all the city's landmarks in a very short time. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, allowing a degree of privacy from other guests. Bathrooms and showers are modern and well-equipped, and everything is washed daily! The 3rd floor has a spacious kitchen with all the necessary utensils. There's also a chill-out area where some of the hostel's activities take place. As far as activities are concerned, they are numerous and varied, from karaoke to pub crawl to sunset. I met some excellent people during my 9 nights at the hostel, and never felt lonely. A big big up to Tadhg, Thomas and all the other volunteers with whom I loved spending time!

Couldn't fault the place!

This place was magnificent - hard to believe it is a hostel. Even though it was attached to the train station, you did not hear a single train. I loved the atmosphere & the styling of the place. Being so close to the city centre & the Cathedral made access to the attractions very easy. Only a short, pretty walk to the Ribiera, also.

The hostel was super well nice, very well located, clean and easy with the bracelets for lockers. Staff was super nice, we could leave our stuff and chill at the entrance before and affer checkout. Lots of event, it was easy to discover Porto and have some fun with some new friends!

the shower water was cold at 2 am and at 8 in the morning. For the moment, there are a lot of roadworks (for the tram) so it was quite noisy, even during the night (security beeps when the machines go backwards).

Great venue, extremely friendly staff, beds were quite comfy (but the third bunkbed is quite high, so the ladder is a bit steep for a 42-year-old)

Not a con, but the timed turn off of the water in the shower can a bit annoying. I do understand it's to conserve water waste . The good thing about that is people aren't taking long showers and blocking the stalls :)

The location is unbeatable. It's inside the same bento station and everything is super walkable. Breakfast spread was delicious and waay better than most hostels. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious. Even the dorm with 12 beds never felt cramped because of the tall walls and windows and whole sofa set inside the dorm room. The best hostel I have stayed on my portugal trip

I’ve stayed in quite a few hostels but the Passneger Hostel in Porto exceeded my expectations. It’s located in Sao Bento Staion and is very central. The staff were super friendly and hospitality. From the moment I arrived everyone was very welcoming. The hostel is very clean and the house keepers are very sweet. If and when I return to Porto I will definitely be staying here again.

No AC so it was a bit warm but there are personal fans in each bed for nighttime

Clean, easy to find, great location. Feels safe and there is convenient locker storage. Right inside the train station building but still quiet and safe

The showers on the suíte floor were not hot, and therer were no towels disposable for guests we had to rent it for 2euro at the reception, and then take the two euro back when giving the towels back… also the showers you had to keep pressing the buttons to work. I tought the place is too fancy for that you know? Just let the guests shower hot and well, comfortably:) Also, after 5Am a techno party started on the streets, so if you have problems with sleep and is taking this trip to relax, the noisy location won’t feet for you.

Cleaning ladies everyday sitting front of my door every day and they were very noise . I asked how can I my locker with Braslet they did want to me help .

-No mirror in our bedroom -Loud with construction outside the window in the morning (should be ok when construction is done as the noise from the train station wasn’t bad) -Issues with hot water in the bathrooms, I had to go to another floor to have a hot shower
